View in EnglishCommunication in advance with Peregrine Treks and pickup at the hotel worked perfectly. If you have only 3 days, the high starting point Ghandruk - as chosen in this tour - is ideal. The individual daily stages are to be mastered so in 4 - 5 hours and one has the free view of the Himalaya in the morning, before from 12:00 o'clock everything wraps itself in clouds. Also the return trip by jeep from Banthanti shortens the altitude meters on the descent from Poon Hill significantly compared to other operators. The lodge in Tadapani is quite simple, the one in Ghorepani even had hot water in its own bathroom. For me as a 67 year old in medium condition it was a strenuous tour, I would advise against an 80 year old not well trained. I was alone with my guide Krishna, who also took over a part of my luggage, because my daypack was not big enough (you don't need a sleeping bag). Krishna was always very accommodating, approachable, absolutely attentive and friendly. He was in my time in Nepal the best guide and I can recommend him, at least for tours up to this altitude, already unreservedly.Show moreTrip date: November 2022

We will provide direct Jeep to Ghandruk and trek to Tadapani. In the monsoon season, Jeep can't go up to Khimche so at that time we will provide a car to Nayapul and Nayapul to Khimche Jeep.
