Antananarivo to Andasibe
Head east to see Madagascar's wildlife starting at Peyrieras Madagascar Exotic Reserve where you'll find chameleons, lizards, frogs, snakes, butterflies, and Sifaka Lemurs. Then continue to Andasibe for more lemur watching, then Parc Mitsinjo in the afternoon for chameleons, snakes, birds, and Indri lemurs. The day finishes with a night forest hike to spot nocturnal creatures.

Antsirabe to Morondava
Start early for a 10-hour drive to Morondava on the west coast, famous for its river delta and Baobab trees. Stop midway at Miandrivazo, Madagascar's hottest place, for lunch and a break.

Morondava

Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park
Begin exploring Tsingy de Bemaraha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with sweeping canyons, gorges, and grand waterfalls. Take a boat through the Gorge of Manambolo with its spectacular river landscapes, then start your trek through the small tsingy formations.

Big Tsingy

Antsirabe to Antananarivo
Drive back to Antananarivo in about 3.5 hours through central highlands. Tour the Queen's Palace, Anosy Lake, and the markets and French Colonial buildings along Independence Avenue. An optional tour visits Gare Soarano, the oldest train station, to learn about the city's architecture and history.
