Itinerary
- Day 1
Island Peak Base Camp
You'll start getting used to the altitude with some lighter trekking over moraine and rocky terrain. The route takes you to Island Peak Base Camp, where the expedition team sets up your tent for a two-night stay. All your meals come from the camp cooks, so you won't need to worry about food preparation.

- Day 2
Island Peak Base Camp
Today is all about learning what you need for the climb ahead. Your climbing leader goes through the essential skills and walks you through using crampons, ascenders, descenders, harnesses, ice axes, and fixed ropes. You'll stay another night at Base Camp in your tent while you prepare for the summit attempt.

- Day 3
Island Peak Summit to Chhukung
You'll head out very early to climb Island Peak at 6,187m. The route goes through a gully on your right, then crosses a rocky section and a ridge where you get views of glaciers and crevices along the way. After reaching the summit, you'll make your way back down to Chhukung and camp there for the night.
