- Day 1
Hanoi
Your driver meets you at Noi Bai airport and takes you into Hanoi's Old Quarter to your hotel. Check-in happens at 1:00 PM, and once you've got the rundown on your trip itinerary, the rest of the day is yours to wander around the city and get a feel for things.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
A shuttle picks you up at 8:00 AM for the drive to Halong Bay, passing through green paddy fields and scenic rivers. You'll board the cruise around noon, then spend the afternoon exploring Surprise Cave and visiting Titop Island. Later on, you can join a cooking class, catch some squid fishing, watch the sunset party, or just kick back. The night is yours on the cruise.

Halong Bay
Start with Tai Chi exercises on the sundeck at sunrise, followed by a photo hunt with breakfast featuring coffee, tea and cake. Head out to Luon Cave after eating, then return to the ship for checkout while a farewell party goes on in the dining room. On the way back to Ha Long Harbour, you'll pass Ba Hang Fishing Village and Dog Islet.

Halong Bay to Danang
Your driver picks you up for the transfer to the airport and your flight to Danang. Once you land in Danang, you're taken to your hotel. From there, you've got the afternoon and evening to check out the city at whatever pace you like.

Ba Na Hills
You're picked up between 7:30-8:30 AM heading to Ba Na Hills, arriving at the cable car station by 9:15 AM. Ride the cable car and funicular railway to see the Golden Bridge, Linh Ung Pagoda, France wine cellar, and D'Amour flower garden. After a buffet lunch at noon, explore Fantasy Park, French Village, and King Peak at 1,487 meters altitude. The cable car ride back down happens at 3:00 PM, getting you to your hotel between 4:30-5:30 PM.

Cam Thanh - Hoi An
Your pickup is at 3:30 PM from Danang heading to Cam Thanh. At 4:00 PM you'll go out in a basket boat through the forest ecosystem, catching crabs and snails while making toys from coconut leaf and racing in boats. Move to Hoi An's ancient town at 5:30 PM to see the Japanese Covered Bridge, Sa Huynh Cultural Museum, and old houses. Walk the lantern streets and shop at the Nguyen Hoang night market before dinner at 7:00 PM. You're back at your Danang hotel around 9:00 PM.

Cu Chi Tunnels
Depart at 8:30 AM from Ho Chi Minh City toward Cu Chi Tunnels, driving through scenic countryside where you'll spot local ducks and water buffalo. Explore the underground tunnel system spanning over 220 kilometers that was used during the Vietnam War. You can try shooting an AK-47 and taste food eaten by Vietnamese soldiers. Grab lunch of local Vietnamese cuisine, then head to the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post Office, and War Remnant Museum in the afternoon. The tour wraps up at 5:30 PM.

Mekong Delta
Your pickup is from District 1 for a bus ride to My Tho, taking about an hour and a half through green rice paddies. Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, the largest pagoda in the Mekong Delta. Take a boat along the Mekong River to see fish cages and floating houses, then slip away into a small canal. Get to a coconut island in Ben Tre and walk around the village, trying tropical fruit and honey tea at a local family's home while listening to Vietnamese traditional music. Learn to make coconut candy there too. Eat lunch at a local restaurant, then relax or bike around before heading back to Saigon, arriving around 5:00 PM.

Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh
The bus leaves at 8:00 AM for the 6 to 7 hour journey to Moc Bai border gate entering Cambodia. If you need one, you can get a visa on arrival with help from the bus crew. After crossing the border, you're picked up from the bus station and checked into your Phnom Penh hotel. Phnom Penh, known as the Pearl in Asia, spreads out with old colonial buildings along grand boulevards as Cambodia's political and commercial center.

Phnom Penh
After breakfast, you tour Phnom Penh visiting Wat Phnom, the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and the National Museum filled with pre and post-Angkor artifacts. Lunch happens at Friends Restaurant, a training establishment for ex-street children learning hospitality skills. The afternoon takes you to sites from the Khmer Rouge period including Tuol Sleng Museum (a former school turned prison and torture center) and Choeung Ek Killing Field. You'll also have time at the Russian Market.

Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
After breakfast, head to the bus station for the 6 hour, 314 kilometer journey to Siem Reap traveling without a guide. Once there and settled at your hotel, stop by the Main Shrine in front of the King's Residence where locals worship statues of Yeay Teap, Preah Ang Chek and Preah Ang Chorm. Check out Chantiers Ecoles, a training center reviving ancient Khmer stone carving and wood sculpting. Walk through Psar Chars (Old Market) with its lively energy and everything available. Visit Wat Bo, a large respected pagoda from the 18th century featuring unique late 19th century wall paintings of the Reamker. Participate in a Buddhist monk blessing ceremony for prosperity, happiness and safety.

After breakfast, you'll spend the full day exploring Angkor Thom and its temples, starting at the Southern Gate and the famous Bayon Temple with 54 gothic towers and 216 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara. See Baphuon representing Mount Meru, Terrace of Elephants used for public ceremonies, and Terrace of the Leper King with moss covered walls and a statue. Explore Ta Prohm temple, then enjoy Khmer style lunch near Sras Srang (Royal Pool) followed by hammock time or village exploration. In the afternoon, visit the magnificent Angkor Wat Temple, one of the seven greatest architectural wonders with its central tower, smaller towers, 2 kilometer long bas reliefs, and 81 hectare complex. At sunset, head to Phnom Bakheng temple on a hilltop for panoramic views of Angkor Wat rising from the jungle.
