- Day 1
Udaipur
Your hotel pickup happens at 7:30am, so you'll want to be ready by then. Breakfast is at your hotel before you head out to see Udaipur's main sights. There's a boat ride on Pichola Lake where you get views of the city from the water, then you'll walk through the City Palace of Udaipur with its blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. The 18th-century Bagore-ki-Haveli mansion is next, and it's worth spending time on the intricately decorated havelis and courtyards. After lunch (timing works out around midday), you'll go to a former royal residence where dinner is included. This gives you time to settle in before heading back to your hotel for a quiet evening.

Udaipur to Mount Abu
The 3-hour drive to Mount Abu puts you there by late morning, and the cooler climate is a nice change. After checking in at your hotel that overlooks Nakki Lake, grab lunch at the hotel or nearby. During the afternoon, the Delwara Temples are worth your time here, with intricate marble work inside that took craftspeople centuries to complete. By evening, a sunset boat cruise on Nakki Lake is peaceful, and you can catch the light on the water. Dinner happens at your hotel afterward, so you're not heading out to look for food.

Mount Abu to Kumbhalgarh
This one requires an early start since Guru Shikar, Mount Abu's highest peak at 5,650 feet, is best visited before the heat. After that hike and the air up there, you'll visit Adhar Devi Temple which is carved into rock. Then there's a 3-hour drive to Kumbhalgarh where you check in and have lunch. The Kumbhalgarh Fort takes up your afternoon, and it's genuinely massive with walls that stretch for miles. A jeep safari to nearby tribal villages comes next with folk dance and music performances. You'll be tired but satisfied by dinner at your hotel.

Kumbhalgarh to Dungarpur
After breakfast you'll drive to Dungarpur and check in at your hotel, which is a former royal palace so there's some character to the place. A boat cruise on Gaib Sagar Lake is calm and relaxing, and there's a bird sanctuary if you want to stop there (it's optional so you can skip it if you prefer). Back at the hotel, an Ayurvedic massage is a nice way to unwind in the afternoon, then you have dinner at your hotel to wrap up the day.

Dungarpur
Your day in Dungarpur focuses on local culture and heritage. You'll see Deo Somnath Temple and Vijay Rajrajeshwar Temple, both with religious and architectural significance. Juna Mahal, the former royal residence, gives perspective on how the ruling families lived. The State Museum has artifacts from the region's history. Tribal villages round out the day so you get a sense of how people live outside the main towns. It's a full day of walking around and taking in different parts of Dungarpur's story.

Dungarpur to Udaipur
You'll leave Dungarpur after breakfast and get back to Udaipur by midday. Check in at your resort and have lunch where you can see the greenery around the property. Later in the afternoon, a jeep safari heads to Jhadol for migratory birds, so bring binoculars if you have them. The safari ends with a barbecue dinner out there, so you'll eat in a more informal setting before heading back to Udaipur.

Landmarks Jhadol - Day 7
Udaipur to Chittorgarh and return
The drive to Chittorgarh takes about 2.5 hours, and when you arrive you'll spend time exploring Fort Chittorgarh, which is India's largest fort and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The history there is significant, and there's a lot of ground to cover. Lunch is at Castle Bijaipur, giving you a break midway through your exploration. From there you'll drive back to Udaipur and finish your tour with hotel drop-off, so you're settled in by evening.
