You'll arrive in Las Vegas and check into your hotel, then have time to settle in or head to the casinos if you're feeling lucky. This evening you'll meet your Travel Director and the rest of the group at a Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant just off the Strip.

- Day 2
Las Vegas to Death Valley
This morning you're heading to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area to see the towering red cliffs and sandstone peaks, with chances to spot La Madre Mountain. After that, you'll continue on to Death Valley, one of the largest national parks in the country, known for its harsh but beautiful landscapes. You'll settle into your hotel there and have access to the on-site amenities.

Death Valley
A guided tour takes you through Death Valley's most well-known locations like Zabriskie Point and Badwater Basin Salt Flats, the lowest point below sea level in the western hemisphere. Later in the afternoon you'll have free time to relax at one of the most unique spring-fed swimming pools around.

You'll travel through the Mojave National Preserve and stop at Calico Ghost Town, an old mining settlement that's been restored to look like it did in the 1880s. From there you'll head to Palm Springs in the Coachella Valley, where dinner is at a restaurant that's been serving locals for more than two decades.

Palm Springs
The day starts with a tour focused on Palm Springs' celebrity homes and mid-century architecture. Later you can explore Village Fest, a festive pedestrian street fair in downtown, and there's an option to ride the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway for views from above.

You'll spend time at Joshua Tree National Park checking out the unusual Joshua Trees and learning how the Mojave and Colorado desert ecosystems meet here. The park has an incredible variety of plants and animals to spot. This afternoon you have free time to use the resort spa before your evening is at leisure.

Salton Sea to Yuma
You'll travel around the Salton Sea, one of the world's largest inland seas and sitting over 230 feet below sea level. A stop at the Visitor Centre gives you information about the area's geology and history. After that, you head to the Yuma Territorial Prison, a living museum of the Old West where you'll learn about the prison's past and its 3,069 prisoners.

You'll travel through the Sonoran Desert National Monument spotting saguaro cacti as you pass through North America's most biologically diverse desert. Continuing on to Tucson, a culturally diverse town surrounded by mountains and a UNESCO City of Gastronomy, you'll have lunch and a Be My Guest experience at Borderlands Brewing Company. The evening is free for exploring the local restaurant scene on your own.
