Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
You'll land at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. There's a briefing about the trek covering the route, safety protocols, and what gear you'll need. After that, the rest of the day is open - either walk around the city or just rest after your flight.

Kathmandu
Today you'll check out three UNESCO World Heritage Sites around Kathmandu. Start with Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) sitting on a hill with views across the city, then head to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in Nepal and a major pilgrimage destination. Later, visit Pashupatinath Temple, the most sacred Hindu temple in Nepal, which sits along the Bagmati River. You'll return to your hotel to prepare for the trek ahead.

Kathmandu to Lukla to Phakding
Catch an early flight from Kathmandu to Lukla with views of the Himalayas the whole way. Once there, you'll meet your trekking crew and start walking toward Phakding. The path gradually descends through the Dudh Koshi Valley, passing through small villages and forest before reaching Phakding, a quiet town right on the river.

Phakding to Namche Bazaar
You'll trek along the Dudh Koshi River today, crossing several suspension bridges decorated with prayer flags. Walk through Monjo and Jorsalle, taking in the hills and mountains around you. Then enter Sagarmatha National Park and climb steeply up to Namche Bazaar, a vibrant Sherpa trading center where the mountains form a natural bowl shape around the village.

Namche Bazaar
This is an acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar. In the morning, take a short hike to Everest View Hotel, which sits at one of the world's highest elevations, and catch panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and the peaks nearby. Back in Namche Bazaar, your afternoon and evening are free - walk through the bustling market, visit the Sherpa Culture Museum, or just relax in the mountain air.

Landmarks/POIs Everest View Hotel - Day 6
Namche Bazaar to Tengboche
Leave Namche Bazaar on a ridge trail with great views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. You'll descend to the Dudh Koshi River, then climb steeply through pine and rhododendron forests to reach Tengboche. This is the spiritual heart of the Khumbu region, and the famous Tengboche Monastery sits here with Mount Ama Dablam as a backdrop.

Tengboche to Dingboche
Start by descending through forests and crossing a suspension bridge over the Imja Khola River. Then climb up through the valley, passing Pangboche and its ancient monastery. As you gain elevation, the landscape becomes more rocky and bare with good views of Mount Ama Dablam and surrounding peaks. You'll finish the day in Dingboche, a village set in a valley with terraced fields.

Dingboche
You have an acclimatization day with a hike to Nangkarstang viewpoint above Dingboche. From there you can see Makalu, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other high peaks, which is great high-altitude trekking experience. Afterward, head back to Dingboche to rest and prepare for the next section of the trek.

Landmarks/POIs Nangkarstang - Day 9
Dingboche to Lobuche
The trail gradually climbs along a wide valley floor, passing the small settlement of Dughla. Then comes a steep climb up a moraine to reach Thukla Pass, which has memorials for climbers who died on Everest. From there you'll walk along the Khumbu Glacier moraine to Lobuche, a small settlement with views of Nuptse, Lobuche Peak, and other mountains.

Lobuche to Everest Base Camp to Gorakshep
This is the most exciting and challenging day - you're heading to Everest Base Camp. The trail follows the Khumbu Glacier moraine with a final steep push to reach the camp, where climbers start their attempts on Everest. You'll spend time taking in the location and the views of the surrounding peaks, including the Khumbu Icefall. Later you'll head back down to Gorakshep to sleep.

Gorakshep to Kala Patthar to Kathmandu
Wake early and hike to Kala Patthar, a famous viewpoint that offers panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and nearby peaks. This is the highest point of your trek and it's unforgettable. After taking in the views, you'll descend to Gorakshep and board a helicopter for the flight back to Kathmandu, which gives you a bird's-eye perspective of the Himalayan landscapes. From the airport you'll transfer to your hotel.

Kathmandu
After breakfast, you'll have free time for last-minute shopping or exploring Kathmandu, depending on your flight time. Your representative will take you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure, which marks the end of your Everest Base Camp trek.
