- Qwayne· May 29th, 2025For the second time, I've chosen the team at Unuraymi, and again, I've not been disappointed. James and Edwin are outstanding and cared for us above and beyond expectations. The whole walk and the navigating the process of acquiring tickets for Machu Picchu became a surprising, exciting part of the memorable experience. For anyone wishing to travel with confidence in a local team, James and Edwin are the way to go. Their connections are knowledgeable, kind, and willing to share their passion for their communities and cultures. We are blessed to be invited to encounter the people and nature in such a unique way. Thank you for everything, team! I will be back!Show more
- Devanand· April 10th, 2025Well-organized. James and Edwin were constantly in touch to ensure things ran smoothly. Because of bad weather our flight from Lima to Cuzco was cancelled but they were on top of the problem and immediately rebooked us. The beauty of sacred valley and Machu Picchu can't be described in words. One needs to visit to appreciate. Our guide Herbert in Machu Picchu was outstanding, very knowledgeable and made the tour stand out.Show more

Asked on April 13th, 2023I'm planning a trip to Peru in the first two weeks of July with my parents, and I was wondering what your availabilities are for 3 people to do the 4 day mini-Huayhuash trek in early July. Ideally we are looking for a guided trip with porter to help carry the equipment, if possible. It would also be great to understand some more details of the trip (transport logistics, whether equipment/food is included, pricing).
- Unu Raymi ExpeditionsOperator•Written April 2023
I would recommend considering a trip to Cusco, and a trek in the Ausangate region. If you go to Huaraz you're going to lose a lot time travelling in and out, and for a 2 week trip you really need to maximise your time. I will send you some trek plans we have for Ausangate for you.

Asked on May 21st, 2022What is the price of the mini-Huayhuash Trek - 3 days? Would it be possible to run this tour from june 19th to june 21st? Do you have any departures on june 17th or june 18th?
- Unu Raymi ExpeditionsOperator•Written May 2022
If you are interested in the Mini-Huayhuash Trek in Peru, the trek is located in Huaraz at an altitude of 4,500m - 5,000m. Cusco might be a better first-time destination with better infrastructure and more cultural experiences. A bus from Lima to Huaraz takes 8-10 hours, and you'll need a couple of days to acclimatize.
