From the moment we arrived in Cairo, everything was well-organized and professionally handled. Our driver in Cairo was punctual, courteous, and made us feel safe navigating the busy city. Each evening, we were informed about the next day’s activities and given options for additional tours. It was a pleasure to meet our knowledgeable and professional guide, Mohamed. The people in Egypt were nice and friendly. The accommodations were great. The food was so-so. That on the boat was very good but in Hurghada it was poor and the service very disorganized. Egypt is very dusty and a warning about that originally would have been appreciated. The time at the pyramids could have been much longer as that was my #1 interest. The tipping expected is more than in the recomendations supplied.
