- Mohamad· July 26th, 2024This was my first time traveling and so far it was a very interesting learning experience. The breathtaking views of historical sites, warm weather, friendly people, and decent hotels. The Sharm El Sheikh area of the vacation was probably the best part of the trip since you can do snorkeling as a beginner and see the colorful fish. I also liked the ATV bike ride in the Sinai Peninsula desert where you bike ride to an outdoor restaurant in the desert and see a musical show. And not to mention, the camel rides in Egypt are a good memorabilia. The hotel they had me stay at Sharm El Sheikh provided free breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and drinks. I also want to give a shoutout to Waleed (Cairo) who is a very smart guide, takes good photos, and knows the ins and outs of society. I also want to give a shoutout to Ahmed (Aswan), Mohamed (Luxor) for being awesome tour guides and giving me good pictures. I also want to give a big shoutout to the Cairo driver, Amr, who is a very patient and honest gentleman and a shoutout to Karim in Sharm El Sheikh for being a knowledgeable and patient driver. Karim was nice enough to buy me a drink and knows the ins and outs of Egypt. I also want to give a shoutout to tour manager, Salwa, who did a very good job organizing the tours and optional tours and properly addressing miscommunications throughout the trip. Salwa responds very fast thru WhatsApp. However, there are a lot of pesky merchants out there and pesky people wanting to be tipped, just be aware of those. There are also some pesky people wanting tourists to pay to use restrooms and the some of the restrooms in Egypt may not be in the best condition. Some areas of Egypt do not accept credit cards at all. Cairo does have pollution/smoke issues unlike other areas of Egypt. Overall a 4 out of 5.Show more
