- Day 1
Paro to Thimphu
You'll arrive in Paro and drive to Thimphu, settling into your hotel. After getting comfortable, head over to the open-air archery range to watch locals competing in the national sport. The markets here have plenty of handmade crafts and textiles to browse through, and you'll finish the day with a traditional Bhutanese dinner.

- Day 2
Thimphu
Start by walking through Jigme Dorji Wangchuk Park at a relaxed pace, then hike up to Tango Monastery in the mountains. Later in the afternoon, you'll head to Buddha viewpoint for views across the valley, check out an art school where artists are working, and walk through the vibrant weekend market. An evening stroll through town wraps up your day.

- Day 3
Thimphu to Punakha
The day starts at the temples at Dochula Pass, where the scenery is really worth taking time for. From there, you'll go to the royal botanical garden in Lamperi to see the different plants and wildlife. After lunch, hike to Mesina's fertility temple, and by evening you'll join nuns for prayers in Punakha, which is a pretty spiritual part of the trip.

- Day 4
Punakha
You'll walk through Punakha Dzong fortress to see its architecture and cultural items inside. The longest suspension bridge is next, offering views and a good adrenaline rush if you're into that. Later, you'll camp in the wilderness with mountains and forests all around. If whitewater rafting appeals to you, expert guides can take you out on Bhutan's rivers.

Punakha to Paro
Drive back to Paro from Punakha using the scenic route through Dochula, Thimphu, and Chuzom. Once in Paro, try your hand at archery, put on traditional Bhutanese clothing, and spend time with local families. You'll have a traditional meal at a farmhouse, then relax with a hot stone bath before the evening.

Paro
You'll hike to Paro Taktsang (Tiger's Nest Monastery) sitting on a cliff edge since 1692. The walk takes you through nice landscapes with winding paths leading up to this important pilgrimage site. Once there, you can look at the architecture and the valley views while soaking in the spiritual atmosphere.

Paro Departure
Your tour ends today. A private van will pick you up and drive you to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, arriving roughly three hours before your scheduled flight departs.
