Itinerary
- Day 1
Paro to Thimpu
You'll arrive at Paro Airport where your tour representative meets you, then drive toward Thimpu (65km, roughly 2 hours). After checking into your hotel and getting briefed on what's ahead, you'll visit Changangkha Lhakhang and Buddha Dordenma before the evening. It's a good day to get oriented and rest up.

- Day 2
Thimpu to Trongsa
This morning covers several important sites around Thimpu: Zeleukha Nunnery, the National Library, Memorial Chorten dedicated to the Late King Jigme Dorjee Wangchuk, Ludrong Memorial Garden, and Tashichhodzong. After lunch, you'll drive to Trongsa (200km) and check out Trongsa Dzong before settling in for the night.

- Day 3
Trongsa to Bumthang
After breakfast, you'll head to Bumthang (68km). The day includes stops at Jambay Lhakhang, Kurjey Lhakhang, and Tamzhing Monastery. These sites show different aspects of Bhutanese spiritual culture, and you'll have time to wander through each before returning to your hotel.

Bumthang to Punakha
Following breakfast, you're driving to Punakha (about 7 hours), which gives you a chance to see the landscape change as you move through different valleys. Once you arrive in this historic city, you'll check into your hotel and have the evening to relax or explore the immediate area.

- Day 5
Punakha to Paro
The morning takes you to Punakha Dzong, Wangdi Dzong, Simtokha Dzong, and Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten. Then you'll drive to Paro and see the National Museum along with Paro Dzong (also called Rinpung Dzong), built in 1644 and considered an important symbol of Bhutanese architecture. It's a full day of cultural and historical sites.

Taktsang Lhakhang Trek
After breakfast, you'll drive to Sartsham Chorten and then go uphill on horseback for about 2 hours to reach Taktsang cafeteria. After a rest and refreshment, you'll do a short trek to the viewpoint where you can see Taktsang Lhakhang (Tiger's Nest) from eye level. Following lunch, the trek down is easier, and you'll return to your hotel by evening.

Paro to Kathmandu
On your final day, you'll have breakfast and pack your things before driving to Paro Airport to catch your flight to Kathmandu. You'll have an overnight stay there, giving you a chance to transition before heading home or on to your next destination.
