Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Marrakech
You'll land at Marrakech Menara Airport where someone will pick you up and take you to your hotel. Your driver gives you a quick rundown of what's coming over the next few days. After that, settle in, have dinner, and spend your first night getting comfortable.

- Day 2
Marrakech
Today covers the main sights of Marrakech with a local guide. You'll see the Koutoubia Mosque, walk through Majorelle Gardens, check out Bahia Palace and Dar Si Said Palace Museum. Lunch is optional in the medina if you want it, then you'll wander through the colorful souks. By evening, grab a drink from a café terrace overlooking Jamaa El Fna Square to catch the sunset, then have dinner back at your hotel.

Marrakech to Ouarzazate
Head out across the High Atlas Mountains plains, going over the Tizi n Tichka pass where you'll stop for lunch. The drive continues with mountain and valley views until you reach Ait Benhaddou, a fortified medieval kasbah on a hilltop. From there, you'll go south to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of North Africa because of its film locations. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Ouarzazate to Merzouga
Start moving into the Sahara through Skoura's palm groves and rose fields, passing through impressive gorges. There's a chance to visit the Amredil kasbah in Skoura, then continue to Todra Gorges with its 1000-foot limestone cliffs. After exploring, head to Merzouga for a relaxing afternoon and optional swim before boarding camels for a sunset trek into Erg Chebbi dunes. Spend the night at a Berber camp with local food.

- Day 5
Merzouga to Fes
Wake early to see sunrise over the dunes, then have breakfast before riding camels back to your driver. It's a long drive to Fes, but you'll pass through cedar forests with Barbary monkeys in the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop at Ifrane, a town that feels like a Swiss Alpine resort. You might spot nomadic Berbers traveling across the mountains. Arrive in Fes for dinner and overnight.

- Day 6
Fes
After breakfast, explore medieval Fez with a local guide. You'll walk through Fez el Bali, the oldest section with over 9,000 narrow streets, plus Fez-Jdid with its Jewish quarter, and the Ville Nouvelle from the French occupation. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage medina and see the University of Al-Karaouine, the oldest university in the world founded in AD 859 and still teaching today. Breakfast and overnight at your hotel.

Fes to Chefchaouen
After breakfast, drive north toward Chefchaouen and the Rif Mountains, passing through Meknes, one of Morocco's four imperial cities. Stop to see 17th-century heritage sites including Bab el Mansour and Moulay Ismail's shrine. Later you'll have lunch, then continue to the Roman Ruins at Volubilis before reaching Chefchaouen for dinner and overnight.

Chefchaouen
After breakfast, walk around Chefchaouen, the blue town in the Rif Mountains near the Mediterranean coast. You'll see the white and blue-washed medina walls and check out markets with local handicrafts. It's a great place for photos with views of the Rif Mountains all around. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Landmarks Chefchaouen Medina - Day 9
Chefchaouen to Casablanca
Leave Chefchaouen and head to Rabat, the capital. See Hassan Tower, a 12th-century mosque damaged by the Lisbon earthquake, and visit Mohamed V's ornate mausoleum with its white silhouette and green-tiled roof. Walk through the Ouadayas Kasbah, a 12th-century military fortification by the Almohads dynasty. Check out the Roman Chellah ruins, then drive to Casablanca for dinner and overnight.
