Kilimanjaro to Arusha
Your driver guide from Betheli Expeditions meets you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and gives you the rundown on what to expect from your safari. Then you'll head to Arusha Planet Lodge where you can settle in, relax by the pool, and take in the lush gardens around the property.

Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your safari guide picks you up at 08:00 and drives you to Tarangire National Park. You'll spend the day on game drives here, moving through one of Africa's most wildlife-rich parks where massive elephant herds roam and iconic baobab trees dot the landscape.

Lake Manyara - Karatu
Following breakfast, you'll drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of game drives with a hamper picnic lunch included. The park has diverse landscapes with the lake, forest, and plains all within reach, and you'll have chances to spot tree-climbing lions and other wildlife. Later in the day, the drive continues to Karatu village for dinner.

Ngorongoro Crater
Head out early to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the famous Ngorongoro Crater, a Natural Wonder of the World. You'll spend the full day on game drives here, looking for the Big Five and other wildlife within this massive volcanic caldera. By afternoon, you'll return to your lodge.

Central Serengeti
You'll leave in the morning and drive toward Central Serengeti with game drives along the way. After passing through Serengeti Naabi gate, you'll do your first game drive in the park before reaching your tented camp for the night.

Central Serengeti
The day is devoted to full game drives across the Serengeti. You'll look for buffalo, hippopotami, elephants, giraffes, antelope, gazelles, and lions spread across the endless plains. Depending on timing, you might see the wildebeest migration with thousands of animals moving through the landscape.

Northern Serengeti
An early morning start gets you heading north with half a day of game drives en route. You'll drive through the park's spectacular terrain across endless plains covering 18,000 sq. km. After a picnic lunch along the way, you'll arrive at your tented camp in North Mara.

Balloon Safari
Wake at 04:30 and head to the balloon safari launch around 05:00. You might see nocturnal animals on the way to the site. After a safety briefing, you'll board and float for roughly an hour with the winds while spotting wildlife and getting great views. Then comes a champagne toast and special breakfast in the bush under an acacia tree before rejoining your group for full game drives.

Mara River
Continue with game drives through the park, heading to the Mara River where thousands of animals cross as the migration continues. You'll see the massive movement of wildlife searching for new grazing areas.

Departure
Take your final game drive in Serengeti National Park, then fly from Kogatende airstrip to Arusha airstrip. After landing, you'll be transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge for a hot lunch, and then head to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your outbound flight.
