Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu to Chitwan
Leave Kathmandu early morning and drive toward Chitwan, pulling into your hotel in Sauraha by midday. After you have lunch and settle in, head out for a sunset boat tour along the Rapti River. Back at the hotel, dinner comes next followed by a traditional Tharu Cultural Dance performance that runs about two hours.

Landmarks/POIs Rapti River Chitwan National Park - Day 2
Chitwan
Breakfast comes first, then you'll take a canoe ride on the Rapti River where you can look for exotic birds and crocodiles. A guided jungle walk follows after that. Once you finish lunch, you can choose between an elephant ride or a jeep safari (around 2 to 3 hours) to see rhinos, tigers, deer, bears, and monkeys. The day wraps up with a local Tharu village tour, dinner, and your overnight stay.

Chitwan to Pokhara/Kathmandu
Get up early for a birds watching tour or nature walk, then come back for breakfast. After eating, you'll head out toward either Pokhara or Kathmandu on a drive that takes roughly 5 hours.
