- KSKendrick· June 9th, 2023My visit to Chitwan was absolutely worth-while. I saw a plethora of birds, crocodiles from on the boat tour, deer, a few wild gharials, a few rhinos, and even a bear! The facilities at the hotel were some of the best I've had in a while. The only downside is the where the bus had to stop when coming back, but it seems to be the only spot where the buses can stop in a city as congested as Kathmandu.Show more

I was lucky enough to see 4 rhinos, 1 sloth bear and loads of alligators / birds in 3 days. The agenda was different to what we did - I couldn't planned my flights differently had I known that day 3 we were going to do nothing, and day 1 was nothing but a walk. I was put on a public bus from Kathmandu with no one else from the group and very little information as to what was going on. I later found out that we were all put on different buses at the same time..... at the same place... When I was dropped off back in Kathmandu, I was dropped at the edge of the city and surrounded by beggars (I understand this is part of life in Kathmandu, but the tour website and staff said nothing about this!!) and had to get a taxi to my hotel. More importantly, I have a massive problem with how there was no mention of tourist elephants / the option to ride them on the website. The regular bus from Chitwan to Kathmandu arrive around 2pm-3pm. The bus park is closed to the tourist hub of Thamel, Kathmandu which is hardly 10 minutes walking distance.

No, we do not have a pickup facility from the airport for this tour. But we will provide you a pickup service from the airport to the hotel if you need. For this, you have to pay extra amount.
