- Day 1
Cairo Airport to Giza
You'll arrive at Cairo airport where your tour guide meets you for the roughly one-hour drive to your hotel in Giza. After you get settled in your room, your guide stops by to walk through the basics of your Egypt tour and answer any questions you might have about what's coming up.

- Day 2
Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Saqqara & Memphis
Following breakfast, you head out to the Giza Plateau with your Egyptology guide to see the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus along with the Great Sphinx and Valley Temple. From there you travel to Saqqara to check out the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, then continue on to Memphis, the ancient capital. You'll be back at your hotel by evening.

- Day 3
Coptic Cairo, Islamic Cairo & Egyptian Museum to Luxor
After breakfast you explore Islamic Cairo, starting at the Salah El Din Citadel and Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. Next you walk through Coptic Cairo to see the Roman fortress, Hanging Church, St. Sergius, and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Later in the day you spend time at the Egyptian Museum touring through 5,000 years of Egyptian art and the Tutankhamun collection. That evening you head to Cairo train station for your overnight train to Luxor.

Luxor East Bank
You arrive at Luxor train station early morning and transfer to your hotel to freshen up. After settling in, you take an afternoon tour of Luxor's east bank with your guide, visiting Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple before heading back to rest.

Following breakfast, you explore Luxor's west bank with your guide to see the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon statues. In the evening you transfer back to Luxor train station to board your overnight train returning to Cairo.

Cairo Departure
You arrive at Giza train station at 5 AM and transfer to Cairo airport for your departure, or you can arrange to be dropped off at your hotel in Cairo or Giza instead if that works better for you.
