Cairo Airport to Giza
You'll be picked up from Cairo airport and driven to your hotel in Giza, which takes about an hour depending on traffic. Once you arrive and get settled, your tour guide will meet with you to go over what's ahead during your Egypt trip and answer any initial questions you might have.

Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Egyptian Museum, and Coptic Cairo
After breakfast, head out to the Giza Plateau with your Egyptology guide to see the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus along with the Great Sphinx and Valley Temple. Then you'll travel to Old Cairo to walk through the Roman fortress, visit the Hanging Church, St. Sergius, and Ben Ezra Synagogue. The day wraps up at the Egyptian Museum where you'll see artifacts from 5000 years of Egyptian history, including the Tutankhamun tombs.

Free Day in Cairo and Departure
You have the day free to explore Cairo on your own and do whatever interests you most. Later, depending on your flight time, you'll transfer to Cairo airport for your departure. Your transfer can be arranged to match your flight schedule, so let your guide know your exact timing.
