Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
You'll arrive in Cairo and meet an Ancient Egypt Tours representative at the airport terminal who'll drive you to your hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle. Check-in typically starts at 14:00 or 15:00 depending on which property you're staying at, so if you get there earlier, just relax in the lobby or arrange an extra night for immediate access to your room. The tour operator will reach out to confirm the meeting times for your upcoming activities.

- Day 2
Cairo
After breakfast at your hotel, meet your personal guide for a full day exploring Cairo. You'll head to the Giza Plateau to see the Great Pyramid of Khufu, then check out the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure along with their smaller companion pyramids and the Great Sphinx and Valley Temple. There's a photo stop to capture all three pyramids with the Cairo skyline in the background. Later you'll go to the Egyptian Museum to walk through over 250,000 ancient artifacts, including King Tutankhamen's golden treasures. After lunch at a quality restaurant, head to Old Cairo to visit the Hanging Church, Abu Sirga Church, and Ben Ezra Synagogue. End the day at Amr Ibn El-aas Mosque, then explore Khan El Khalili bazaar in the evening before heading back to your hotel.

Cairo to Airport
Have breakfast at your hotel before heading to the airport for your departure. An Ancient Egypt Tours representative will pick you up and drive you to the airport. Plan for 4 hours before an international flight or 3 hours for domestic flights. If your flight leaves early before the restaurant opens, the hotel can pack a breakfast box for you to take along.
