Itinerary
- Day 1
Lake Mburo National Park
You'll start early, driving through southern Uganda's forests and wetlands with a stop at the equator before reaching Lake Mburo National Park. Lunch happens at your lodge, then you can relax by the pool or take in the views from the grounds. Later in the afternoon, head out for an evening game drive where guides search for leopards and other wildlife, ending with dinner back at the lodge.

Lake Mburo to Ishasha Sector
Before sunrise, you're on a game drive through Lake Mburo to spot wildlife. Then you'll head west, passing farms and tea plantations as you climb toward the volcanic highlands. After stopping for lunch on the way, you'll arrive at your lodge in late afternoon. That evening brings another game drive in the Ishasha sector looking for tree-climbing lions, hyenas, and leopards before settling in for the night.

Landmarks Ishasha Sector Queen Elizabeth National Park - Day 3
Kazinga Channel
A morning game drive takes you through the conservation area and into Queen Elizabeth National Park's main sector. You'll have a packed lunch, then transition to a Kazinga Channel cruise where you'll see buffalo and elephants along the banks, plus hippos and crocodiles in the water. By evening, you'll be transferred to your lodge for dinner.

Lion Trekking
Starting early, you'll join a two to three hour foot trek using GPS systems to track lions while contributing to conservation data collection. Back at the lodge for lunch, you can rest for a couple hours. In the evening, head to the Kasenyi plains for another game drive focused on finding big cats, including opportunities to spot the famous leopards of the area.

Queen Elizabeth to Budongo Forest
You're in for a long day of driving through scenic landscapes, passing Rwenzori mountains in the distance, through Fort Portal, farmland, sugar cane and tea estates. After passing through Hoima and Masindi, you'll enter Murchison Falls National Park and drive into Budongo Forest, arriving at your lodge deep in the forest. Depending on timing, there's an optional two hour forest walk to look for birds, antelope, reptiles and chimpanzees.

- Day 6
Budongo Forest to Murchison Falls
Starting with early morning sounds of chimpanzees, you'll do a game drive on the Honeymoon Track in Rabongo sector or choose a forest walk or chimpanzee trek instead. After lunch, a launch takes you on a one and a half hour journey to Murchison Falls, where you'll scout riverbanks for hippos, crocodiles and waterbirds. You'll climb to the top of the falls where your camp sits waiting with dinner, then do an evening leopard search.

Murchison Falls National Park
After early light breakfast and a game drive, you'll have a more substantial meal before crossing the Nile at Paraa. Then you're driving into the delta where the Victoria Nile enters Lake Albert, spotting leopards, lions, kob, hartebeest, elephants, buffalo, crocodiles and the world's largest Rothschild giraffe population. A late afternoon game drive brings you back to camp for dinner prepared by your camp chef.

Murchison Falls to Kidepo Valley National Park
You'll start with a sunrise game drive from camp lasting two to three hours. After breakfast, you're leaving Murchison and heading north through Acholiland where the landscape and people change noticeably. The route takes you through the bustling market town of Gulu, then on to Kitgum through rocky landscapes. After lunch there, you'll turn east toward Kidepo, climbing through a mountain pass that reveals the park's beauty before reaching your campsite and climbing Amapuis rock for a sunset drink.

Landmarks Kidepo Valley National Park Gulu Kitgum Amapuis Rock - Day 9
Kidepo Valley National Park
You'll wake to sunrise over Morongole mountains with coffee and fresh fruit, then head to Narus Valley hunting for lions, elephants, giraffes, elands, zebras, leopards and massive buffalo herds. After a substantial breakfast back at camp, you're searching the seasonal Kidepo River for cheetahs and ostriches, with packed lunch eaten among Barassas palms. You'll return mid afternoon to relax in the shade or take an optional nature walk or community visit, finishing with traditional poike stew around the campfire.

Kidepo Valley to Pian-Upe Wildlife Reserve
Another sunrise and breakfast over Morongole mountains before packing up for your final game drive through rocky ridges and acacia woodlands to the eastern gate. The long but beautiful drive takes you through Karamoja territory inhabited by cattle herders. You'll arrive at Pian Upe in the evening just in time for a cold drink while watching the sunset, with Mount Elgon visible in the distance.

Landmarks Pian-Upe Wildlife Reserve Mount Elgon - Day 11
Pian-Upe to Jinja
Early morning brings a game drive in Pian-Upe Wildlife Reserve where you'll look for cheetahs, hyenas, ostriches, elands and various antelope. Since the accessible area is small, you're back mid morning and heading south toward Mount Elgon and Mbale for lunch. Continuing south to Jinja, you'll reach your lodge on the River Nile banks for your final night in added comfort after nights under the stars.

Jinja to Entebbe
Depending on your flight time, you might have the morning to try Jinja's adventure activities like horseback safari, quad biking, kayaking or white water rafting (not included), or simply relax enjoying Nile views from your room. If your flight departs early, you'll head straight to the airport for your departure.
