Itinerary
- Day 1
Yerevan
Your tour starts at noon from your location and takes you through three important Yerevan sites. First up is Matenadaran, which holds over 17,000 ancient manuscripts and is one of the world's largest repositories of its kind. From there you'll head to St. Gregory Church, Armenia's largest cathedral completed in 2001. The final stop brings you to Erebuni Fortress, a 2,782-year-old Urartian structure that's significant to Yerevan's founding. After finishing up, you'll get dropped back at your accommodation.

Lori Fortress - Odzun Monastery
Starting at 10:00 AM from your location, this tour covers sites in the Aragatsotn region and beyond. You'll see the Monument of the Armenian Alphabet, then head to Lori Fortress near Stepanavan where 10th-century ruins still stand. Next comes Odzun Monastery, one of Armenia's oldest religious buildings dating to the 6th century. The day includes time for walking around, taking photos, and getting a feel for village life in the region before you return to your accommodation.

Jermuk
Your day begins at 10:00 AM and takes you first to Khor Virap Monastery, where Christianity began in Armenia and where you'll have views of Mount Ararat. From there you'll travel to Jermuk, known for its wellness offerings like mud baths and thermal springs, plus a notable waterfall. You'll get to try authentic Armenian food and drink the region's mineral water. After spending time exploring the area and enjoying fresh air, you'll head back to your accommodation.

Sevanavank Monastery - Hayravank Monastery - Noratus Khachkar Cemetery
Departing at 10:00 AM from your location, this tour focuses on Lake Sevan, the Caucasus region's largest lake. You'll visit Sevanavank Monastery on a peninsula with views across the water. Then it's on to Hayravank Monastery on the shoreline, known for its cross-domed architecture and connections to local legend. The trip includes a stop at Noratus Khachkar Cemetery where roughly 1,000 Armenian cross-stones from around the 10th century are displayed. You'll get dropped off at your accommodation once the tour wraps up.
