- Day 1
Los Angeles to Carmel
You'll head north along the California Coast, starting with a visit to the Spanish Mission in Santa Barbara. From there, it's on to Solvang where you can walk through the Danish-inspired shops and grab lunch if you're hungry. The drive down Route 1 is the real highlight here with the coastline right there next to you the whole way. You'll stop in Carmel to walk around a bit before driving to your hotel near Oakland Airport for the night. The whole route takes you through some really nice scenery.

San Francisco
This day focuses on San Francisco's main attractions. You'll start on the bay, taking a cruise that goes under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz Island. After returning, you'll grab lunch at Pier 39, then spend the afternoon on a tour hitting the Golden Gate Bridge, Union Square, Chinatown, and Nob Hill. Later, before heading to Modesto for the night, you'll get views of the city from the Bay Bridge as evening settles in. That gives you a solid range of what the city has to offer.

Yosemite National Park
You're driving east through the farmlands of the Joaquin Valley to reach Yosemite National Park. The park covers massive ground with forests, lakes, and waterfalls spread across the Sierra Nevada. You'll stop at El Capitan, Bridal Veil Falls, and Half Dome during the day. From the Visitor Center, there's a short walk to Yosemite Falls, which ranks among North America's highest. After that, you'll head to Stevenson Ranch to settle in for the night.

Las Vegas
You'll travel east through desert landscape and Death Valley on your way to Las Vegas. Around midday, there's a lunch stop at the Barstow outlet mall where you can find major brand stores. Once evening hits, a tour of the Strip shows off the famous hotels including Caesar's Palace, Luxor, Mirage, Paris, Venetian, Bellagio, New York New York, and Treasure Island. You'll finish with your choice of shows or time at the casinos.

Grand Canyon
You're heading southeast through desert terrain and the Navajo Indian reservation to reach the South Bank of the Grand Canyon, one of the world's seven wonders. Along the way, you'll learn about how the Colorado River carved out the canyon over millions of years. After lunch, the route continues east along the canyon rim where you can visit local Indian marketplaces to see handmade arts and crafts from local artisans. You'll stay overnight in Page.

Antelope Canyon to Bryce Canyon
This morning you'll tour the lower Antelope Canyon, which Navajo folklore describes as 'the water runs through the rocks.' The natural dunes here were shaped by wind, water, and sand over time. After that, you'll head west to Bryce Canyon where rock and sand formations have been carved over thousands of years into unique shapes. You'll catch the changing colors at sunset from a vista point before driving to Kanab for the night.

Zion National Park to Las Vegas or Los Angeles
After breakfast, you'll head into Zion Park, named by Mormon settlers who saw the experience as spiritual. The mountains and the quiet of the wilderness create something different from other parks. You'll take a short walking trail along the Virgin River that goes through the park. From there, you can either head for an early evening arrival back in Las Vegas or take a late night drive back to Los Angeles depending on your preference.
