- Paulina· October 7th, 2024It was amazing. Excellent visits, hotels and great knowleadgeable tour guides. It would have been helpful to be advised about trying to be the first ones to leave the ferry upon arrival to Aqaba to avoid a long wait for immigration. Marvelous and comfortable hotels but in Cairo and Amman it would have been great to be centric located to be able to enjoy the city centers. Also Dahab Paradise, beautiful but not with a real beach and far from the town. Would have loved to have time to visit St Catherine and Qumran. I felt very little time for the Cairo bazar. We didn't see the oldest street, nor enjoy the bazar for rushing back to the far-away hotel to do nothing. Would have love en extra offering for a cooking class either in Egypt or in Jordan and felt that an extra day in both countries would have been great. BTW, the tour started on day 2. Overall, I had an amazing and unforgettable trip! I already want to go back for more. I will highly reccomend this tour from Travel Talk.Show moreTravel Talk commented on this reviewHi Paulina, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on your recent trip! - AGAdam· June 12th, 2023Absolutely brilliant tour. Some busy days but well worth it to see so many incredible sights. Adham and Faisel, the tour guides for Egypt and Jordan were both awesome. Wouldn't change a thing about the tour. I loved it!Show moreTrip date: May 2023
- JVJames· May 18th, 2023This was actually a couple of tours together. The first part in Egypt had an excellent tour leader who was organized, and well knowledgeable. Egypt was amazing other than one problem which cannot be attributed to the guide. The overnight sleeper train was a problem. During the night my travelling companion was bit by something in the night the later resulted in him going to a hospital for surgery. It caused an infection and a lot of pain. The tour continued on in Jordan. Although the tour operator was very personable he was very soft spoken and the group had ballooned to over 40 people. Most of the time he could not be heard. As our medical issue came to a head in Jordan, we had to deal with any arrangements for the emergency ourselves. Even though the tour operator was fully aware as they had been informed by a Jordanian medical officer, no assistance was offered.Show moreTrip date: April 2023
- EBONIE· January 13th, 2023Words can not express how amazing our tour experience was in Egypt and Jordan! Our tour guide, Mo, was phenomenal! Our tour was flawless! We were able to do everything as mentioned in the itinerary. The hotels were fantastic as was the customer service. We enjoyed the food at every hotel as well as the local restaurants during the day and evening. Our guide, Mo, was knowledgeable and highly skilled. He made us all feel safe and welcomed. It was obvious that he is an expert Egyptologist in his field. Mo was also patient and thorough answering our questions (and we had many) in regards to our tour and the history and culture. He really made our trip exceptional! There were several variations of tours going on simultaneously— I was impressed how organized the trip leaders and guides were. Very impressed. With so many different itineraries, they were flexible to allow changes if necessary. At first I was thinking of switching from land to cruise but after speaking with Mo- he convinced me to stay with the felucca trip. I was nervous because the weather was colder than I planned and I was worried we would be freezing. Mo assured us we would be fine and not cold. I trusted him and I’m so glad we decided to do it. We had a blast and it was one of my favorite experiences of the trip, we were not cold at all! Bravo to Mo and your entire team at Travel Talk. I will also give shout out to Bishoo, our trip coordinator— for his outstanding customer service! He went above and beyond in helping us every step of the way! You guys have a strong team and exceptional leadership. Thank you for everything. A very positive and memorable trip!Show moreTrip date: November 2022

- Rachel· November 3rd, 2022I thought Michael 1st guide we had in Egypt was very helpful and set up by awful Australian girls on final night feluca. These particular girls in question. Who shouldn't been on this type tour, completely misbehaved. forced him to drink , believe1 bottle of wine was left behind . It's entirely not his fault what happened according to what they "say". I believe only one side was been put forward. And it's fabrication and exaggerationShow moreTrip date: October 2022
- ECelizabeth· April 19th, 2022The first day of the tour was a 30 minute meeting in the evening and the last day of the tour we had no guide as he checked out the night before. Therefore the tour was really 14 days. The first hotel in Egypt was nice but only 1 room key was issued. So if your roommate was going out you either could not put the lights on or you had to go out together. We were refused a second key. The train to Luxor from Cairo was awful. I think there should have been an option offered. Apart from being uncomfortable the water ran out in the bathroom meaning that the toilet did not flush and there was no water to wash your hands. I went from Egypt to Jordan by ferry with 5 other ladies and 1 gentlemen. We were taken to the dock and left with a ferry employee who was to help us navigate this endeavor. Immediately in customs the officials tried to take a pack of prescription medications. After arguing in various languages they were returned. None of us were able to speak Arabic and our helper was not fluent in English. We had been given instructions by the Egyptian guide not to give up our passports and not allow anyone to take our luggage. We were told to get on a bus carrying our luggage by gestures and pigeon English. We arrived at the ferry and were told to leave the luggage by the doors and go upstairs. We argued to no avail and left the luggage. We were seated in a huge sitting area seeing only 2 other western looking people. There were no other ladies to be seen anywhere. Again we were on our own with no guide. We decided to go to get a drink and one of the gentlemen who was not in our group stated that he would go with us. It was very intimidating being female in an environment where we did not speak the language and in a place with no proper assistance. When we were sitting a man came up to us and demanded our passports. Seeing no badge of authority we refused and eventually he went away. Upon landing we were brought to an area where all the semi trucks were parked and walked around them while some were moving We found our luggage and with no assistance were taken off the ferry and to immigration. There was a new guide who met us after immigrationShow moreTravel Talk commented on this reviewHi Elizabeth , we value all our customer’s feedback to deliver the best service to our passengers as possible. Asked on July 28th, 2025Is shared accommodation option available? What is the Single supplement?

Asked on May 29th, 2025looking at this tour for sometime in Jan 2026. Do you do anything with flights? how big are the tour sizes and when visiting the sites do you get to go into the various places or is it just viewing from outside only.
- Travel TalkOperator•Written May 2025
We don't handle flights directly, so you'll need to arrange your own airfare. Our group sizes range from 12 to 42 people, depending on the departure. Sightseeing is included throughout the tour, and while you'll get to visit the main sites, entrance fees are not included—those would need to be paid separately on the day.

Traveler•Written June 2025With the fees extra, is there time built in to the tours for those that want to go inside when possible.
- Travel TalkOperator•Written June 2025
The guide will ensure that there is dedicated time for passengers who wish to explore the interiors of the sites, as the itinerary has been thoughtfully designed with this in mind. However, please be aware that the group will need to adhere to the scheduled timeline.

Asked on May 28th, 2025Will I be able to go inside of the Great Pyramid? Do we have time for this? Is it possible that you can get tickets for us if they are not included in the regular tour? I heard that it is difficult to get tickets because there is a limit per day.
- Travel TalkOperator•Written May 2025
A visit to the Pyramids is indeed included in the itinerary. However, the entrance fees are not included in the tour price. If you'd like to enter the Great Pyramid specifically, your guide will organize this for you at the start of the tour. They will collect the entrance fees from those interested and purchase the tickets—this helps secure access.

Asked on December 4th, 2024Is it safe to go to Egypt and Jordan right now with the war in Syria and Lebanon? Also do I need to get a visa for Egypt and Jordan? If so how do I apply for it?
- Travel TalkOperator•Written December 2024
We can assure you that all our tours in Egypt and Jordan are operating as scheduled. The safety of our passengers is our top priority, and we carefully monitor the situation to ensure our itineraries remain safe. Please note that our tours do not visit or pass through any conflict zones. Egypt: Most nationalities can obtain a visa on arrival, but it's best to check specific requirements based on your citizenship. Jordan: Many travelers are eligible for a visa on arrival as well. Additionally, you may get the Jordan Pass, it waives the visa fee if you're staying in the country for at least three nights.

Traveler•Written December 2024Can you tell me if I can get the visa on arrival for Egypt with a British Passport? How do I apply for the Jordan Pass?
- Travel TalkOperator•Written December 2024
Visitors from the UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the EU and South Africa may acquire their visa upon arrival in Jordan. Single-entry tourist visa fee is 40 JOD and it can only be paid in JOD (Jordanian Dinar). Jordan Pass is considered to be the best option for tourists visiting Jordan. It covers the entrances fees to more than 40 touristic sites, including Petra, and waives the visa fees for tourists. Jordan Pass must be purchased 3 days prior to your arrival date. We strongly recommend that you get the Jordan Explorer package instead of the Jordan Wanderer, so that you may enter Petra more than once. It costs about JD75 (USD106).
- Travel TalkOperator•Written December 2024
Currently, there are no bookings for this departure date. Please note that we require a minimum of 4 passengers for the tour to be confirmed. As for your request regarding the tour price, unfortunately, the price is fixed and non-negotiable.
