We just have the departures listed online as these are group trips which are contracted well in advance. We do not currently have any travelers booked on the July trip. If you are flexible on the date our June departure is guaranteed at 7 travelers and has an average age of 54.

Asked on January 4th, 2024Can you tell me how much hiking is included? We are pretty active, but also love the cultural aspect of this tour. Is there another tour that includes more hiking? Or is there an opportunity we can rent bikes along the way on the days that have free time. One last question... we are somewhat concerned about safety issues at the moment in that region of the world? Any issues in your region?

There was plenty of opportunities to hike, although I wouldn't consider any of them super strenuous, more pleasant and idyllic. I never felt unsafe, and would walk the city of a night. There was no tension that I felt, and I would not hesitate to go back tomorrow. I did not see many bikes and the roads are hectic so although you may be able to find rentals, it didn't seem to me an environment where I would have necessarily wanted to, it's more a destination to enjoy on foot to soak in the landscape and culture.

So far, we have 7 confirmed for May, 5 for June and 1 on September, but none confirmed for October as of yet. The maximum group size is 16, however last year's departures all ran with between 6 - 10 travelers. We guarantee departures once 4 travelers confirm via deposit, and as soon as this happens, we notify travelers of this so they can confirm their flights. The deposit is $100 per person and that is fully refundable up to 55 days prior should you need to cancel for any reason.
