- Colin· October 23rd, 2019We had a wonderful trip to Nusa Penida island with our guide Rukun! We used the transportation through the tour company which made finding him a breeze since it’s quite crazy down at the port with others transporting out of Sanur! Rukun took us to the boat and put us up top for the best view :) At the island we had a local driver the entire day for our private tour. The roads are a bit bumpy as they are still working on building this out the past couple of years since the island has gained tourists recently. Rukun asked out preference on how much time we would like to spend in certain spots and made sure we stuck to the plan. We opted for less time at the Views and more time relaxing at Crystal Bay. All were wonderful. Rukun knew the best spots for the best photos. The views here are breath taking! It looks like Instagram truly makes to our to be but our photos don’t do it justice. Each spot is more beautiful than the next. Having a swim at crystal bay was great to relax, have some time to ourselves and grab a beer on the beach. Rukun was a great guide! He was upbeat, funny and cheerful and really made our day special. The lunch spot they took us to was great! Authentic food, good service and relaxing. I would recommend this day tour to anyone! It was about 45 minutes from Nusa Dua and a great change to the resort vibe in the area. If you book this- request Rukun! (Especially if you want some laughs, to have a great time and to get great photos).Show more
