Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Cairo
A Culture Holidays rep will meet you at Cairo airport holding a sign. From there, you'll get in an air-conditioned car and head to your hotel for check-in. This is mainly a travel and settling-in day, so you can rest up after your flight.

- Day 2
Cairo
Start with breakfast at your hotel, then head to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities where you'll see 5,000 years of Egyptian art including the famous Tutankhamen collection. After that, spend the afternoon at the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Before wrapping up, you'll get a close-up look at the Sphinx as the sun starts to lower.

Cairo to Aswan
An early morning transfer takes you to Cairo airport for a flight to Aswan. Once you arrive, you'll visit the Aswan High Dam, then take a motor boat to Philae Temple Island to see temples from Pharaonic, Greek, and Roman periods. Next, you'll check into your 4-day, 3-night Nile cruise, grab lunch on board, and in the afternoon, sail on a felucca sailboat along the Nile.

Nile Cruise: Kom-ombo to Edfu
The cruise sails toward Kom-ombo temple on the east bank where you'll explore the double temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris. After that, check out the nearby Crocodile Museum. Then sail to Edfu where a horse and carriage takes you to Edfu temple, one of Egypt's best-preserved temples. Back on the cruise, you'll have afternoon tea on deck while sailing toward Luxor.

Luxor
After breakfast on board, you'll cross to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings and visit tombs from various dynasties. Next, see the Temple of Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon, two massive sitting statues of Amenopes III. Then you'll visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut before heading back to the cruise.

Luxor to Cairo
Following breakfast, you'll check out and head to Karnak temple, walking along the avenue of sphinxes to reach the largest religious site in Egypt dedicated to Amon-re. Next, visit Luxor temple in the city center. In the afternoon, a transfer takes you to Luxor airport for a flight back to Cairo, where someone from Culture Holidays will meet you and take you to your hotel.
