Itinerary
- Day 1
Agadir to Tafraoute
You'll start with a pickup from your Agadir accommodation or airport at 8:00am and head toward Tiznit, an old walled medina town where you can check out Berber jewelry. The drive takes you through colorful rock formations of the Anti-Atlas mountains. Lunch is included somewhere along the route before you arrive in Tafraoute, a typical Berber village, by evening.

Tafraoute to Tata
After breakfast, you'll explore the Ameln Valley, which is just 7km away and has springs, painted houses, and quiet villages to wander through. From there, you head to the Tazegzaoute Gorge for a picnic lunch with locals. Later in the afternoon, you'll continue on to Tata, an oasis settlement positioned at the foot of Jebel Bani mountain.

Tata to Erg Chegaga
You'll leave early and head toward the high sand dunes of Erg Chegaga with scenic stops along the way. Lunch happens in Foum Zguid, then you take an off-road track past the dry Lake of Iriqui toward Erg Chegaga. By evening you'll watch the sunset over the dunes and have a traditional dinner before staying overnight in a nomad desert camp or under the stars.

Erg Chegaga to Nekob
Wake early to see the sunrise over the sand dunes and then have a hearty breakfast at the camp. You'll leave the desert and travel to M'hamid village for lunch at Hotel Kasbah Sahara Services. In the afternoon, you'll visit Tamegroute to see the Koran Library and old Kasbah, then drive through the Draa valley with its millions of palm trees before reaching Nekob by evening.

- Day 5
Nekob to Boumalne Dades
You'll travel toward Todra Gorge through rocky desert, lush green valleys, and mountainous landscapes. You'll stop in the Berber town of Tazzarine and Alnif for lunch. By the time you arrive at Todra Gorge, you'll see its 300m-deep fault and pink and grey limestone walls that create a narrow passage for the river and trekkers.

- Day 6
Boumalne Dades to Tisselday
Starting from Boumalne Dades, you'll travel through the Dades Gorge crossing the green valley. Lunch happens in Boumalne Dades, then you'll visit the palm gardens of Skoura and tour the Kasbah Amerhidil. You continue to Ouarzazate and stop to see the 16th century UNESCO site of Kasbah Ait Benhadou, one of Morocco's most notable kasbahs. After that you cross the Atlas Mountains to reach Tisselday.

- Day 7
Tisselday to Marrakech
You'll have breakfast on the terrace of the guesthouse with views over the Atlas Valleys. After that, take a guided one-hour walk into the mountains, then continue toward Marrakech. You'll cross the high Atlas Mountains at Tizi n'Tichka pass at 2260m elevation. By around 3:00pm you'll arrive in the Red City for drop-off at your accommodation or airport.
