Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech to Boumalne Dades
Your driver picks you up from your Marrakech accommodation and heads into the High Atlas Mountains, passing through authentic Berber villages on the way to Telouet. You'll stop at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed kasbah from the 17th century that you might recognize from films like Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. After grabbing lunch near the kasbah, there's time to walk through Kasbah Taourirt before continuing through Skoura and the Valley of Roses. By evening you'll reach Boumalne Dades for dinner and an overnight stay.

Boumalne Dades to Merzouga
Following breakfast, the drive takes you to Todra Gorge in Tinghir where you can see the dramatic gorge views and river. From there you'll pass through the desert towns of Erfoud and Rissani heading toward Merzouga. Before the camel trek, you'll have traditional mint tea. Then comes a two-hour camel ride to your desert camp where you'll spend the night with dinner, a campfire, and local desert music under the stars.

Merzouga Desert
Wake early to catch the sunrise, then have breakfast to fuel up. A 4WD excursion takes you out exploring the desert landscape and the surrounding terrain. After lunch at an authentic restaurant, you'll have free time to relax back at camp or wander around and explore more on your own. You'll stay overnight in a hotel in Merzouga.

Landmarks/POIs Merzouga Desert - Day 4
Merzouga to Fez
After breakfast, the journey heads toward Fez via Errachidia, taking you through the dramatic Ziz Valley and its rocky passage. You'll drive through Midelt, a commercial center in the agricultural hinterland, and then into Cedar forests where Barbary macaques live. A stop in Ifran lets you see the alpine-style architecture, ski slopes, forests, and the famous lion statue. You should arrive at your Fez accommodation by early evening.
