- Day 1
Marrakech to Boumalne Dades
Your driver picks you up from your Marrakech place and heads into the High Atlas Mountains, driving through Berber villages on the way. You'll stop at Ait Ben Haddou, a 17th-century kasbah that's been featured in films and is recognized by UNESCO. After grabbing lunch nearby, you'll check out Kasbah Taourirt before continuing toward Boumalne Dades through the Rose Valley. Dinner and your first night's stay happen there.

Dades Valley to Merzouga Desert
Following breakfast, the drive takes you from Dades valley toward Merzouga desert. You'll pass through Todra Gorge, where limestone canyons rise up around you, and stop in Erfoud, a small oasis town. By late afternoon, you'll get on a camel and ride out as the sun sets, heading to a Berber desert camp where dinner, local music around a campfire, and an overnight stay in a private tent are waiting.

Merzouga Desert
Start early to catch the sunrise from the desert camp, then have breakfast before camels carry you back from your overnight stay. A 4x4 takes you through Erg Chebbi dunes to see key desert spots throughout the day. You'll eat a traditional local lunch, then have free time to rest up before dinner and spending the night at a hotel in Merzouga.

Merzouga to Fes
After breakfast, you'll travel to Fes by heading through the Ziz Valley and Errachidia. The route goes through cedar forests where Barbary macaques live, and past Ifran, a town with ski slopes and a famous lion statue carved from a hillside. You'll reach your Fes accommodation as evening comes around.

Fes
A full day exploring Fes begins with visiting Madrasa El Bouinania, built between 1351 and 1356 and considered one of the finest examples of Marinid architecture. You'll see El Quaraoiyin mosque and university, recognized as the oldest continually operating school of higher education in the world. After touring the pottery village and checking out Nejjarine Square and the royal residence, you have time to walk around on your own before settling in for the night.

Fes to Chefchaouen
After breakfast, the drive to Chefchaouen includes stops in Meknes to see Bab Mansour, the imperial gate, and the ancient ruins of Volubilis, a former capital of Mauretania. Once in Chefchaouen, the blue-washed buildings create something quite distinctive as you walk through the medina. You'll visit Place Outa el Hammam with its 15th-century fortress, an ethnographic museum, and the octagonal minaret before having free time to explore more.

Chefchaouen to Casablanca
After breakfast, drive to Casablanca with stops in Ouazane and nearby villages along the way. In Rabat first, you'll visit Oudaya, a UNESCO World Heritage site, see the ancient Roman colony ruins, and look at Hassan Tower, an unfinished mosque minaret from 1195. The mausoleum of Mohammed V holds the tombs of three kings. Then it's on to Casablanca for your overnight stay.

Casablanca to Marrakech
Starting with breakfast, head to Mohammed V Square, a spacious plaza built in 1916 with French Colonial design and a fountain with statues at its center. Then visit Hassan II Mosque, finished in 1993 as the second-largest mosque in Africa, with the second-tallest minaret at 210 meters/689 feet. After your tour wraps up, the drive back to Marrakech along the highway takes you to your accommodation for the drop-off.
