Claire· December 10th, 2024New Zealand is a beautiful country but I did not enjoy this tour, it is an expensive uncomfortable way to drive round the country with very little included in the itinerary. We spent many hours on an uncomfortable old mini bus with inadequate aircon and steamed up windows. With so little on the itinerary the guide/bus driver tried to accommodate requests for optional extras but this was often chaotic (not drivers fault) and tours were fully booked, very expensive and weather dependent. Food options were poor and accommodation varied between good dorms and terrible hostels with flooded showers, no hot water, dirty. I left the tour a week early preferring to lose money than stay on the tour. Would not recommend this tour, very expensive mistake.Show more

For multi-share tours, the minimum age requirement is 18 years old, and travellers are expected to take responsibility for securing their belongings. We strongly advise all travelers to avoid bringing unnecessary valuables on the tour. Use a neck wallet or money belt while traveling. Many hotels offer safety deposit boxes. We recommend using a lock to secure your luggage.

Joining point of this tour is Haka Lodge Auckland. You can book pre accommodation for this tour through us. Travel insurance is compulsory on all our trips for those travelling internationally. We require coverage for medical expenses including emergency repatriation.
