Itinerary
- Day 1
Departure to Chilas
You'll start with an early breakfast and then head out for Chilas, traveling through Bisham along the Karakoram Highway. The drive takes you through some impressive terrain, and you'll wrap up the day at your hotel for the night.

Landmarks Karakoram Highway - Day 2
Chilas to Skardu
Breakfast comes at 6:00am before you drive to Skardu. During the journey, you'll see the Karakoram Mountains and Nanga Parbat from the road. By around 4:00pm you'll arrive in Skardu with the rest of the afternoon free to walk around and check out the local area.

- Day 3
Skardu to Khaplu
After breakfast, you're driving to Khaplu, which is roughly 110 kilometers and takes about 3 hours. Once there, you'll check into Majestic Serena Khaplu Palace and have lunch. Later, a guided tour takes you through the village, the Palace, and its museum. You'll also visit the 750-year-old renovated Chaqchan Mosque before the day ends.

Khaplu to Shigar
You'll have breakfast and then drive to Shigar, about 110 kilometers away and roughly 3 hours of travel. Along the way, you'll stop at Shigar Valley viewpoint for photos and sightseeing. From there, you check in at Shigar Fort Residency, a 17th century palace that's now a museum and hotel. The rest of your time is yours to spend walking through the village, taking pictures, or exploring on your own.

- Day 5
Shigar to Kachura Lakes
After breakfast, the drive from Shigar back to Skardu only takes about 30 minutes. You'll visit Upper Kachura Lake and take a 20-minute walk through the village to reach it. Then you head to Lower Kachura Lake and settle in at Shangrilla Resort. You'll have free time to relax, and if you feel like it, there's an optional trip to Skardu Bazaar.

Kachura to Gilgit
Early breakfast at 6:00am gets you ready for a full day driving along the Karakoram Highway. You'll depart at 6:30am and spend the entire day traveling, finally arriving in Gilgit where you'll stay overnight at a hotel.

Gilgit to Islamabad
You start with an early breakfast at 6:00am, and after that you're on the road at 6:30am for your final day of travel along the Karakoram Highway. The long drive brings you to Islamabad, where your tour concludes.
