Chennai to Varanasi
Your flight from Chennai lands you in Varanasi, where you'll check into your hotel and meet your certified guide. If you arrive with enough time before evening, you'll head down to the Ganges banks to catch the Ganga Aarti ceremony. The ritual involves Sanskrit chants, drums, bells, and colorful performances by priests gathered along the water.

- Day 2
Sarnath

After that, you'll do a heritage walk along the riverfront staircases. Then it's a short trip (13 km) to Sarnath, the sacred deer park where Buddha delivered his first teachings. Your schedule here depends on your flight time back to Chennai, so some activities might shift around. By evening, you'll head to the airport for your return flight.
