  I had an excellent experience using Tourradar. The guides and driver made me feel so safe, always there to pick me up at the precise time, without me even calling them. The tour guides were very intelligent and experienced. Dalia, Remon, Sobhy and Mahmoud were wonderful. I highly recommend Tourradar, whether travelling alone or with a group.

  We have never been on an organized group tour before. We have always self-planned and self-executed our trips, including to 'difficult' places. I must say the organization and structure of the tour was excellent. The guides ranged from good to very good. All tour guides in Egypt work from a script, however the quality of the guides can be determined by their responses to questions and when they diverge from the script. Our guides varied from good to very good in this regard. The pacing of the tour was first class, giving us plenty of free time while also seeing the highlights. Could more have been added? Yes, but this would have been very tiring, and i thought the pacing was 'spot on'. Details: 1. Pick up at the airport was a just a little off kilter, we had to call the guide to find him, but we got there, and from there everything went very smoothly. We were fortunate that our tour in Cairo was 'private', just the two of us, with a local guide and driver effectively dedicated to us. The order of the tour was juggled a bit to accommodate the cruise, but this did not affect the tour at all. 2. If you are nervous the traffic in Cairo will be challenging. Also outside of central Cairo the trash problem is as bad, if not worse, than anywhere I have been in the world. Clearly Egypt is a developing nation with all the challenges that go with that, but even in the touristy areas the trash is a problem, efforts required by the Egyptian Government to improve that. The hawkers and street hustlers are very aggressive at times, your guide will help but it requires some fortitude to get past this and it does get jarring after 10 or 11 days of it. Just be prepared, they are just trying to make a living, and this is a developing country. But........ 3. The history of Egypt is outstanding, arguably the best in the world. To have so much to see concentrated in such a small geography is amazing. While I knew a fair amount about Egyptian history before I came, this does not prepare you for actually seeing it in person. Having a guide and transport is essential. One of the most outstanding places I have ever been to (and we have been to over 75 countries). 4. Our guide and transport were excellently organized and prepared. Pick ups were on time, the tours well planned, if a little predictable. The only issue is that in peak season you will be at the monuments along with thousands of others. Don't expect to have the temples to yourself if you come in the peak season or you go on a tour. Most of the tours arrive at the same time, especially on the cruises. Most of the tour ships travel at the same time down the Nile, and arrive at same time at each monument. Not much you can do about this if you travel on a tour. 5. Our guides were good at taking us to reliable shopping destinations. There is an awful lot of rubbish out there, finding good souvenirs is not easy, but the guides were helpful with this. 6. Hotels/Cruise- the Conrad was undergoing a renovation. On the first part of our tour we were in an unrenovated room. The room was showings its age and certainly not up to standard. I would not recommend an unrenovated room. On the second part we were in a renovated room. Much, much better, and up to standard. Actually the renovated rooms are very nice, and highly recommended. Food in the hotel weas good. Cruise- the ship was OK (Steigenberger Minerva)- it was a little old, but well maintained. Not bad, just not great- 3.5 out of 5 I would say. Crew were good, service 4 out of 5 and food quite good, also 4 out of 5. 7. For those coming from the US, and for those with the time, I would recommend adding an extra day at the beginning and end of the tour just to relax and maybe do some walking through Cairo. We did this and we were very thankful that we did. 8. In Summary- i would rate this an excellent experience, and the tour operator actually exceeded my expectations. I would recommend the operator (Look at Egypt Tours) and I would highly recommend visiting Egypt. if you are time crunched, or don't want a lot of hassle, a tour is the way to go.

  Impressed with Look at Egypt Tours I can’t say enough good about our trip to Egypt, arranged through Look at Egypt Tours. We felt 100% taken care of through our entire trip. Tarek was our tour leader, Ahmed was our guide in Cairo and Muhammed was our guide through most of Egypt, with the Nile cruise. Given the state of the world right now, I’m so glad that we were able to take this trip of a lifetime several Months before quarantine shut the world down. I look forward to the world getting healthier that we may travel again like this. Loved every minute, we highly recommend Look at Egypt tours!

  felt there was a perfect blend of organised activities and free time to relax. Our car was comfortable, modern and clean. Altogether was an incredible experience, one that I will never forget. The attention to detail was superb, everything went without a hitch. The hotels I stayed in were fabulous and the cabin on board the MS Minerva was lovely with a large window to look out of as we sailed down the Nile. The cruise down the Nile was fantastic, the crew on board the MS Minerva were wonderful, and our tour guide was so personable and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Look at Egypt tours and will most definitely get in touch with them when I plan my next adventure.

  We booked our trip to Egypt for 11 days through Look at Egypt Tours everything was well organized and everyone was on time from the moment we arrived cairo airport there was Tarek waiting with a sign by our names he helped us to finish all formalities next day we had our first day tour our guide was Randa she was very professional and we read a lot about this company guides but Randa exceeded all our expectations after our tour in Cairo we traveled to Aswan to to take our cruise for three nights upon arrival to Aswan we found one of Look at Egypt tours team eating fir us and our guide Muhammed he was so friendly person and stayed with us for 4 days we visited many temples and tombs really we had a very big meal of history overall we had very good service with great value we are happy to recommend Look at Egypt tours for everyone

  There are not enough words to express how amazing Look at Egypt tours made our trip in Egypt! They were so accommodating and we got to enjoy everything we wanted, without the hassle of planning. The pace was perfect and we are so happy we chose this company . While we were in Luxor, we had Eltyab as a tour guide and he was fantastic and so informative. We had a great time with him. The rest of our trip was with Hind and even though she was our tour guide, she didn't feel like one. It was like travelling with our friend who knows everything about Egypt. She is so warm and friendly and we had an amazing time with her. Nothing felt forced. We learned so much about the history of ancient Egypt without feeling like we were taking a class. As much as i loved my trip in Egypt, I loved the experience with the help of our guides we highly recommend this tour and Look at Egypt Tours.

  Cancelled tour refund – great service I recently had to postpone a planned tour in November with Look at Egypt Tours Due to corona outbreak At first there were some miscommunications about refunds. However, after discussions with Ahmed, he was able to offer a very reasonable refund arrangement. I have since rescheduled my tour with Ahmed and Look at Egypt Tours. I'll be traveling soon.Stay tuned!

  The Balance between excursions and free time was perfect. I also found that there were a few local stops that both surprised and delighted me. The heat and sandstorms caused our local guide to have to modify the tours, which he did smoothly and seamlessly, without compromising any of the sights. Amazing job Look at Egypt tours
