Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
A driver picks you up at 9:00 AM to start exploring Kathmandu's religious heart. You'll begin at Patan Durbar Square, taking in the old palaces and temples there, then move on to Pashupatinath Temple, which sits along the Bagmati River and ranks as one of Hinduism's most important pilgrimage sites. Around midday, you head to Boudhanath Stupa where you can grab lunch and walk around the massive white dome, watching pilgrims and monks move through the area. After that, you'll see Swayambhunath Stupa perched on a hill overlooking the valley, and then get driven back to your hotel by late afternoon, so you'll have time to rest before dinner.

- Day 2
Changu Narayan - Bhaktapur
Your alarm goes off early, around 4:00 AM, since pickup happens at 4:30 AM for the drive up to Nagarkot. You arrive in time to catch sunrise over the Himalayan range, and if weather cooperates, you can see Mt. Everest, Langtang, and Annapurna from the viewpoint. After breakfast at the hill station, you'll hike for roughly three hours down to Changu Narayan, an ancient temple that's actually the oldest religious structure in the Kathmandu Valley. From there, you transfer to Bhaktapur, the old Newar city, where you can walk through pottery workshops and handmade paper factories to see local crafts. Before heading back around 3:00 PM, you'll taste JUJU Dhau, a thick yoghurt that's popular in the area, and grab lunch at Bhaktapur Durbar Square in the historic plaza.
