- Jason· April 18th, 2024For those with limited time this is a good and varied introductory trek with 3 full days walking, starting from and ending in Kathmandu. It is also very quiet - very few other trekkers. Hotels are surprisingly good. I did this trek in mid-April, visibility was quite poor, and now most trekking trails on Day 3 have been made into roads, this is of course neither the guide or the Tour Operator's fault, I highly recommend Mountain Rock and will be coming back to do another trek with them. Dipak offers great and speedy service in the planning process and takes great care of everything.Show more

They were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The whole journey was a visual feast for the eyes. I mean, come on, the beauty of the Everest region is mind-blowing! Majestic mountains, snow-capped peaks, and breathtaking landscapes were everywhere we looked. It was like being in a fairytale. The helicopter return was the cherry on top. We got to witness the grandeur of Everest from up above, soaring through the clouds. It was an experience like no other, and trust me, the pictures we took are envy-inducing! Mountain Rock Treks And ExpeditionOperator•Written June 2025Yes, we can absolutely arrange a single room for you throughout the trek. Please note that there is a single supplement charge to cover the additional costs of single occupancy in lodges and hotels along the route. The supplemental charge for a single room is USD $75 additional, which includes private accommodation in Kathmandu as well as the best possible options during the tour where single rooms are available. Total cost will be 298+50=$348.
