You'll arrive in Mexico City, the largest city in Latin America where centuries-old traditions live alongside modern culture. Take time to settle in and explore at your own pace this afternoon. That evening, you'll meet your group and tour leader for a welcome meeting, with an optional dinner if you'd like to join everyone.

Mexico City
Start with a walking tour through Mexico City's Historic Center, hitting the Metropolitan Cathedral, Zocalo, National Palace and Museum of Anthropology. After lunch you'll have free time to wander around more neighborhoods with recommendations from your tour leader. There's an optional group dinner and get-together that evening if you want to continue exploring with others.

Mexico City to San Miguel de Allende
Head out to Querétaro this morning to see Spanish Colonial architecture from the 16th to 18th centuries. Then continue on to San Miguel de Allende, a UNESCO-listed city with strong cultural roots and colonial buildings throughout. You'll get a walking tour, check in to your accommodation, and can join an optional dinner with the group.

Zacatecas
Travel to Zacatecas, a colonial UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its baroque buildings and winding streets. The morning brings a walking tour of the historic center, then you'll take a cable car ride from Cerro de la Bufa up to Cerro del Grillo for views across the city. Optional dinner and group gathering happens in the evening.

Guadalajara
Start by visiting La Quemada, ancient ruins believed to be connected to Chicomoztoc. After lunch, you'll head to Guadalajara, one of Mexico's largest cities and a major cultural hub. Check out the Historic Center and Metropolitan Cathedral with its mix of neoclassical, baroque and gothic styles, plus other cultural sites. Optional group dinner wraps up the day.

- Day 6
Sayulita
Drive to Tequila, where the famous drink originates, surrounded by blue-gold agave fields under a volcanic peak (this area's a UNESCO site). Tour a local tequilera to see how they make it, walk around town, and grab optional lunch. Later you'll head to Sayulita on the Pacific coast, a relaxed Magical Town with a laid-back vibe. Optional dinner and group gathering in the evening.

Sayulita
This is your free day in Sayulita. Spend it however you like on the beach, catch some waves, or take an optional day trip to Islas Marietas, a wildlife sanctuary formed by volcanic activity. Optional group dinner happens if you want to meet up with everyone.

Sayulita
Another free day to do whatever appeals to you. Relax beachside with a drink, surf, snorkel, volunteer at a local turtle release camp, hike through the jungle, bike or ride horses on a quiet beach, or pick your own activities. There's an optional group dinner and gathering in the evening.

Morelia
Travel to Morelia, your tour's final destination, known as the City of the Pink Stone for its distinctive buildings. This UNESCO-listed city has numerous baroque and neoclassical monuments throughout. You'll do a walking tour, check into your accommodation, and join an optional farewell dinner with the group.

Mexico City
