Itinerary
- Day 1
Kigali to Bwindi National Park
Your driver will meet you in Kigali early and head north through Ruhengeri toward the Uganda border at Cyanika or Katuna. The route takes you past Kisoro or Kabale, and you'll reach Bwindi National Park by early afternoon after about 4 to 5 hours of driving. Once settled at your accommodation, you can choose to take a hike or visit the local Batwa community if you're interested in learning about the region and its people.

Bwindi National Park
After breakfast, you'll head to the Bwindi gate for a pre-trek briefing with your national park guide, who'll walk you through what the gorilla trek involves. You'll join other visitors in your assigned group and then set out into the forest. How long the trek takes depends on where the gorillas are located, so it could be a few hours or stretch much longer.

- Day 3
Bwindi National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park
You'll drive from Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the morning, traveling through western Uganda's varied terrain and arriving by late afternoon. Later that day, you'll head out on the Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise where you can see crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and different bird species moving along the water.

- Day 4
Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kampala/Entebbe or Kigali
After breakfast, you'll drive to Kalinzu forest for a chimpanzee trek through their habitat. During the trek, you might also spot colobus monkeys, olive baboons, and red-tailed monkeys. Following the trek, you'll transfer out to either Kampala or Entebbe, or head back to Kigali if that's your preference.
