Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Hanoi
Your driver meets you at Hanoi airport and takes you to your hotel in the city centre. Rooms are ready from 2:00pm, so if you arrive earlier, there might be an extra fee for early check-in. The rest of the day is yours to settle in and relax after your flight.
- Day 2
Hanoi to Mu Cang Chai
After breakfast, you'll leave at 6:30am for the 300km drive to Mu Cang Chai with a couple of stops along the way. Once there, you walk through the terraced rice fields for about 2 hours, pass through Khau Pha Pass, and trek through pine forests to meet Hua Khat ethnic minority Hmong people. By evening you'll check into a homestay and have dinner with a Thai family sharing local dishes.

Mu Cang Chai to Sapa
Breakfast comes with views of the rice terraces. At 8:30am you start trekking roughly 7km to reach terraced fields designated as national heritage, with about an hour of climbing to get to the top. You'll spend time in local villages meeting H'mong people and looking through their traditional homes. After lunch at the homestay, you drive through Than Uyen Valley toward Sapa, arriving at your hotel for check-in.

Sapa to Muong Hoa Valley
Following breakfast, you have free time to walk around Sapa town, check out the market, and visit the old cathedral where you'll see local ethnic minorities wearing traditional dress. Around 10:30am you head out on a trek into Muong Hoa Valley, walking downhill on footpaths for roughly an hour while taking in views of Hoang Lien Son mountains and Fansipan Peak. You'll cross a suspension bridge to Y Linh Ho village, visit H'mong families, and have a picnic lunch. Then it's another 2 hours of trekking to reach Lao Chai and Ta Van, where you stay overnight at a homestay.

Ta Van to Hanoi
The morning includes visits to Heaven Gate and Silver Waterfall with your guide. After lunch, you transfer back to Hanoi on a sleeping bus, which takes approximately 6 hours. The tour ends when you arrive in Hanoi.
