Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
Your representative meets you at Kathmandu airport and drives you to your hotel downtown. Along the route, you'll pass Pashupatinath temple's cremation site, the Royal Palace Museum Narayanhity, and the Garden of Dreams. Once settled, spend the afternoon walking through Thamel's streets to get oriented.

Kathmandu to Bhulbhule
After breakfast, you'll drive from Kathmandu toward Bhulbhule via Besishahar. The road winds through Nepal's countryside, offering views of rivers, streams, dense jungles, and mountain ridges as you travel through the changing landscape.

Bhulbhule to Chamje
Following breakfast in Bhulbhule, your trek to Chamje begins. The trail takes you through steep, slippery sections crossing rice fields, then climbs through rhododendron forest. You'll have lunch served along the way as you make your way upward toward Chamje.

Chamje to Khopra Ridge
Today's a steady climb through meadows and pastures up to Khopra Ridge. You might catch sight of pheasants or snow leopards in these high pastures. From the ridge, Mount Dhaulagiri and Annapurna South Peak come into view, and you can see the Kali Gandaki River cutting through the gorge below.

Khopra Ridge to Chame
You'll trek over rough rocky terrain to Timang at 2360m, then move through forest near the river to reach Kopar at 2590m. After a rest, continue walking to Chame, the Manang district headquarters. Two small hot springs sit near Chame if you want to check them out, and Annapurna views appear throughout this section.

Chame to Pisang
The trail takes you through a narrow, steep forest-covered valley. You'll cross a river and walk over a bridge at 3040m where the dramatic Paungda Danda rock face rises above. From there, the path climbs upward to Pisang where you'll stay the night.

Pisang to Manang
From Pisang, you'll trek through the upper Manang district, a high-altitude region where farming and livestock sustain the communities. You can take either route: the southern way via Hongde airstrip (3325m) has gentler climbing, or the northern route via Ghyaru offers better mountain views. Either path leads through Bryanga at 3475m and continues to Manang.

Manang
This is your acclimatization day in Manang, so take it slow. Explore the village at your own pace and let your body adjust to the higher altitude before continuing on the trek.

Manang to Khangsar
After breakfast, you'll trek to Khangsar, a village situated at 3756 meters elevation in the Manang district. On clear days, surrounding mountain views accompany you as you walk through this Himalayan community.

Khangsar to Tilicho Base Camp
You'll trek to Tilicho Base Camp, where you'll begin your approach to Tilicho Lake at 4919 meters, the world's highest lake. Along the route, blue sheep, yaks, and other alpine animals graze in the meadows while Gangapurna and Annapurna 3 rise in the distance.

Tilicho Base Camp to Tilicho Lake
Start early with breakfast before the wind picks up. The walk from Base Camp to Tilicho Lake takes about 3 to 4 hours. After time at the lake, you'll return to Base Camp the same way since there's nowhere to stay up there.

Tilicho Base Camp to Yak Kharka
After breakfast at Base Camp, you'll backtrack along an unmarked trail, descending around to the river. Cross via an old log bridge between Gumsang and Yak Kharka, then climb up from the river crossing as you make your way to Yak Kharka for the night.

- Day 13
Yak Kharka to Thorang Phedi
Your day starts with a two-and-a-half-hour gradual climb, then you'll descend to cross the river at 4310 meters. After crossing, you'll climb again to reach Thorang Phedi where you'll sleep tonight.

- Day 14
Thorang Phedi to Muktinath
Beginning with a two-and-a-half-hour gradual ascent, you'll then descend to the river crossing at 4310 meters. After crossing, climb up to Thorang Phedi. From there, a 4-hour trek takes you to Muktinath, a pilgrimage site sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists. The Muktinath temple features 108 water taps and nearby sits Jwala Mai Temple with an eternal flame powered by natural gas.

Muktinath to Jomsom
Start in the morning at Muktinath temple to catch clear mountain views and see the 108 water taps. Visit the nearby Jwala Mai temple with its eternal flame and holy spring. After breakfast, you'll trek to Jomsom via Jharkot village, Kagbeni, and Ekle Bhatti, then check into your lodge.

Jomsom to Pokhara
Head to the airport early after breakfast for your 30-minute domestic flight to Pokhara, which offers mountain views and sights of the trail you hiked. Once in Pokhara, settle into your hotel. By evening, take a lakeside walk or boat ride across Phewa Lake to see reflections of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Dhaulagiri.

- Day 17
Pokhara to Kathmandu
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu by bus. The journey is long and weather-dependent. When you arrive, check into your hotel. In the evening, either stroll through Thamel for souvenirs or rest and pack for your departure.

Your trip concludes today. After breakfast, your representative will pick you up in a private van and drive you to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport about three hours before your scheduled flight.
