  Incredible Trek to Nepal I just completed a trek to 17 Days Manaslu Circuit Trek with Sherpa Expedition and Trekking, and I can't say enough good things about them! Being a solo female trekker, safety was my top priority, and I felt completely secure the entire time. In all my travels around the world, Sherpa Expedition and Trekking Team is the best tour operator I have used.

  I recommend the Manaslu circuit trek to all. Incredible scenes and nice accommodation through route. The trek had a decent degree of challenge; truly possible for those with great wellness however positively not a stroll in the recreation center.

  Manaslu Circuit Trek has been perhaps the best experience of me and my wife. It isn't something to take lightly as it is very testing truly and intellectually yet because of the master administration from our guide and our stunning porter it was a really compensating experience that we will always remember. Sherpa Team couldn't have been any increasingly kind or accommodating and they are a genuine credit to themselves and the astonishing Manaslu Conservation Area. Thank you !

  We highly recommend the Manaslu Circuit. From my experience with Sherpa Expedition and Trekking, It’s an amazing way to see the local culture, enjoy the local food (especially), and take a tour around all the amazing scenery on this side of the Himalayas.

  This review is 17 days Annapurna Circuit Trek organized by Sherpa Expedition and Trekking that i started early January 2020. The company did a great job modifying the itinerary according to my time table. I also do Pokhara sightseeing. Our trekking going smoothly with light snow but at Yak Khakra, heavy snow falling and weather is not good where we cannot go further. So, my guide Sonam and I decide to back Pokhara for my own safety. My remaining day to explore Pokhara and trekking around near Pokhara. Pokhara is quite clean and beautiful compare to Kathmandu and good views of Mt. fishtail and other himalaya. I loved this place. Our porter Dorji help us throughout trek. Despite I didn't complete my trek but I was totally satisfied with the service on the trek. Ram and Dorji were able to help make the most of the situation we had. Thanks to Kiran organize such a beautiful place. See you next time with my friends.

  My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience with Sherpa Expedition and Trekking. With only 14 days to make the Manaslu trek instead of the usual 16, Ram made a modified itinerary for us and we had our own private tour with Dil (guide) and Milan (porter). Both Dil and Milan were very very friendly, knowledgable, and fun to be around. They were always on point with service, making sure we were comfortable, interpreting, and making the trip safe and enjoyable. I would highly recommend asking for them! Ram explained everything before we departed, and even picked us up from the airport when we arrived to Kathmandu so there was no hassle. The hotel that he provided (Tibet Guest House) for the first two nights before the trek and the last night after returning was in a great location in Thamel and had excellent included breakfast (ask for the Norbu special!) and comfortable air conditioned rooms. Only two blocks from his shop, and next to all the shopping and restaurants. Getting to the first town was our only real complaint: There was a little confusion regarding transportation, and I must confess we did not like taking the 'local' bus 8 hours to the first town because it was dirty, crowded, and seemed very unsafe-so don't expect a luxury private tour bus with a bathroom if you go on this trek! Transportation on the way back was slightly better-a jeep to the first town and a mini bus back to Kathmandu (also not private, but much better than local bus). Kathmandu is a big, dirty, overcrowded city with tons of pollution-so that was definitely a culture shock. Thamel is more charming than the surrounding areas though. The trek itself was incredible- very little tourists compared to EBC or Anna Purna, and we wereoften the only guests at the Tea Houses. Again, do not expect luxury on this trek. Some of the tea houses were very simple, if not slightly shabby. But all served excellent food, and some of the newer ones had more clean and comfortable rooms and beds. They are in the process of building lovely new wooden houses all along the trek though, so this time next year things should be more upscale. The Nepalese are very friendly and accommodating, and anytime we ordered food on the trail they never failed to offer us more and make sure we were well fueled for the day ahead. I loved that they all had gardens on site and literally picked our lunch when we ordered it. The views were stunning; a real photographers paradise-so long as the rain and clouds were not obstructing the views. Morning time was the best for viewing, but we came at the end of monsoon season (middle September-early October) so I'm sure the rain/clouds would have been less of an issue had we come a few weeks later. Also, a landslide fatally injured a group of Trekkers just one day ahead of us-so I strongly recommend not coming during monsoon season when these natural events are bound to happen. Dil was always stopping and questioning locals and making phone calls to keep abreast of any hazards or set backs, so we felt safe in his hands. The trek itself was physically laborious, and my boyfriend and I are both avid gym goers and hikers who are in excellent condition. The temperature changes and altitude are not to be taken lightly, and we saw many sick or exhausted Trekkers extricated daily by helicopter who were not in shape enough or who were not as careful about what they ate or drank. So please be aware that this is not just a walk in the park. I confess that the 10 hour day going over Larke Pass was one of the hardest days of my life! Totally worth it though, don't get me wrong. Ram took us to dinner and made customized certificates for us when we returned from the trek, and helped us with bartering for goods on our last day in Kathmandu. He was very receptive to any feedback or concerns we had, and is a very professional business man who treats his clients and employees like good friends. I would definitely recommend using Sherpa Expedition and Trekking for any treks in Nepal! “Manaslu Circuit Trekking with SHERPA EXPEDITION AND TREKKING - outstanding”

  Our guide "Ram" was exceptional with a vast background trekking and biking in the area and a local native, he was passionate about sharing Nepal and its unique stories of the sort that can't be found in guide books. He was also excellent at looking after the group as we aclimated, adjusting the itinerary to make the most out of each day for us as well as the sherpas and porters. A truly kind, compassionate and capable guide... really fun too! The trek was quite a unique one, having hiked Gokyo/Everest BC, I had a general thought about what the trek was like, but was pleasantly taken aback at how different it was on so many levels. The diversity of terrain and cultures as we progressed as profound and stunningly beautiful. This is also a trek not to procrastinate doing, much like the Annapurna Circuit, a jeep trak is in the makings (slowly and by hand mostly) shortening the route and potentially cutting off some of the very special villages along the way. The durration of this trip was perfect, I wish it could stay like that, but like life, nothing remains the same. I loved my experience... thank you sherpa Expedition and Trekking and "Ram"!!!
