- ARAndreas· November 5th, 2025Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishWe really enjoyed the round trip. Before starting in Buenos Aires, we went to Uruguay and Montevideo on our own. We were able to gain great impressions of the cities of Buenos Aires, Mendoza and Santiago de Chile and also had excellent weather. The contact with the travel agency was first class. We received feedback extremely quickly via WhatsApp. To improve a little more, we have 2-3 comments: - At the hotel in Mendoza it would be good to be able to check in in the morning, especially after the long bus journey (16 hours) you look forward to a shower. We were only able to check in at 1:30 pm and were under a bit of pressure because of the half-day excursion to the wineries. Otherwise the hotel is/was absolutely TOP. - The hotel in Santiago de Chile is in a great location. However, for the 2 nights we were accommodated in a really very small room (more like a shoebox) with a really small bed (150 meters wide). This was quite a contrast to the hotel in Mendoza (where the room felt like a dance hall). Conclusion: A really great trip through South America. Chile in particular was definitely not the last time we visited ;-).Show more

Asked on September 11th, 2025I am interested in the Buenos Aires to Santiago de Chile (9 Days) but would like help with booking an internal flight on Day 5 from Buenos Aires to Mendoza, instead of the night bus. Are you able to help with this?
Hi Travel ArgentinaOperator•Written September 2025If you prefer to book a flight from Buenos Aires to Mendoza, you should know that the itinerary will have one less day without the night bus. The price I'm finding for the flight (already discounting the bus tickets you will be replacing) is around 1500 USD. You should keep in mind that flight prices change constantly, so it can vary until the moment it is issued. Regarding which airlines to book with, you could choose JetSmart, which is usually good for our domestic flights. And you should look for the departure Airport in Buenos Aires to be AEP (Aeroparque), which is mostly used for the domestic flights and it's nearer to the city. Would you like us to include transfers to/from the Airports as well if you decide to book the flight?

Traveler•Written May 2025We were thinking of going to iguaza Falls by plane. Is the domestic flights reliable?

Traveler•Written May 2025Is there a train going to iguaza Falls?
Hi Travel ArgentinaOperator•Written May 2025There's no train going from Buenos Aires to Iguazu. So the best way to get to Iguazu Falls is taking an overnight bus. They have different categories, we can issue a "cama" service with meals on board included.
Hi Travel ArgentinaOperator•Written May 2025Flights are reliable and there are many choices of timetables. So you can fly in and out, BUE-Iguazu-BUE or you can fly to Iguazu on your international flight.

Asked on March 13th, 2025What kinds of guidance is provided as regarding sights to see? Is there a tour guide? Does the guide change in each city? I don't mind simple accomodations, but as a 62yo, don't want a hostel. Will accomodations be like a pension? Will there be a group that I travel with the whole time?
Hi Travel ArgentinaOperator•Written March 2025Our tours are independent. This means you'll be meeting people during day tour and at the accommodation but from city to city you'll taking regular buses. There is not going be a group where you can join and shared the same itinerary. You can always contact us through whatsapp. Once you start with the trip, we'll help you with any doubt and everything you need through the chat. Is there a tour guide? NO. Does the guide change in each city? YES, IN EACH TOUR. Will accomodations be like a pension? YES, YOU CAN CHOOSE 3* OR 4* SINGLE ROOM. Will there be a group that I travel with the whole time? NO.

Asked on June 21st, 2022Can you confirm the following please: whether it is a guided tour, how big is the group, how big is the bus. If day 1 is the Thursday we don't actually start until day 2 the Friday as we do not need a pick up fro the airport as we will already be in B.A. I am travelling with my mum who is 89 so we wont be doing white water rafting in Mendoza (or horse back riding) and she wont do the bike riding in Santiago.
Hi Travel ArgentinaOperator•Written June 2022Our tours are independent, this means you'll be meeting people during day tour and at the accommodation but from city to city you'll taking regular buses. There is not going be a group where you can join and shared the same itinerary. The day tours are guided. We can find an alternative in Santiago for a city tour. In Mendoza we can change it for the High mountain tour that you'll be travelling by bus with the guide.

Asked on February 22nd, 2022As we are going to travel in April and covid pandemic is near to end and we are fully covid vaccinated with 3rd booster dose . Do still mandoza to Santiago by bus crossing is problem in immigration?
Hi Travel ArgentinaOperator•Written February 2022Yes, even though you are fully vaccinated this route Mendoza and Santiago is not available for regular services due to strong bureaucratic procedures in the border with Chile. If by the date of your departure the problem is solved, you will be able to take the bus. But if the problems persist, you may need to take a flight from Mendoza to Santiago.
