Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Kathmandu

    You'll land at Tribhuwan International Airport where a Mosaic Adventure representative meets you for the transfer to your hotel. The team gets you settled in and runs through pre-trip logistics, plus your trekking guide will go over what's coming during the trek.

  2. Day 2

    Lukla to Phakding

    An early start takes you to Manthali Airport for a 35-minute flight into Lukla at Tenzing and Hillary Airport. After landing, you'll wander around the village while the Sherpa crew gathers and checks equipment. The actual trekking starts with a descent toward the Dudh Kosi River, passing through Ghat village, and you'll wrap up the day at Phakding.

  3. Day 3

    Phakding to Namche Bazaar

    Today the trail follows the Dudh Kosi River with multiple crossings on suspension bridges decorated with prayer flags. Once you enter Sagarmatha National Park, the path climbs steeply with views of the Himalayas around you. By evening you'll reach Namche Bazaar, the main hub along the Everest trail.

  4. Day 4

    Namche Bazaar

    This is your acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar, so the pace is easier. You'll visit the museum to learn about traditional Sherpa customs, then hike up to Syangboche Airport and Everest View Hotel. The views of the Khumbu peaks are great at sunrise or sunset, which gives you plenty of time to choose when to head up.

  5. Day 5

    Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

    The trek takes you to 3,860 meters as you reach Tengboche and its local monastery. Depending on your energy and the day's pace, you'll either catch a prayer ceremony in the evening or early the next morning.

  6. Day 6

    Tengboche to Namche Bazaar

    From Tengboche Monastery at 3,860 meters, you'll descend along the same route, leaving the high peaks behind. The trek back down to Namche Bazaar takes most of the day and gets you ready for the journey home.

  7. Day 7

    Namche Bazaar to Lukla

    You head back to Lukla where the trek started several days ago. There's time to sit with the group, share stories about the trek, and celebrate what everyone accomplished during the high altitude hiking.

  8. Day 8

    Lukla to Kathmandu

    Before departing, you get one last look at the mountains. Then it's the 35-minute flight back to Manthali, followed by a transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu where you can rest and recover from the trek.

  9. Day 9

    Kathmandu

    A Mosaic Adventure guide takes you around Kathmandu to see Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. After the guided portion wraps up, the rest of the day is yours to wander through Thamel for shopping and picking up any gear you might need.

    Our 7-member Everest Base Camp trek with Mosaic Adventure was exceptional from start to finish. The team was incredibly well-coordinated, always prompt, and communicated everything clearly. They set the right expectations throughout—no surprises, just solid planning. Accommodations and food stops were thoughtfully chosen, offering comfort without losing the local charm. Our guide, Pralhad, was caring, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in our safety and experience. The porters were equally amazing—helpful, kind, and dependable. Raj, the owner, was a standout—approachable, super responsive, and full of practical advice. Mosaic didn’t just guide us to Base Camp—they elevated the whole journey.

    Sitharam was a perfect guide. Hotels firat meal wasnt good and the room was good but then the management changed and is Ok Tour was amazing but the right time is winter season.

    Words cannot properly describe my time with Mosaic Adventure in Nepal on the EBC trek, it was absolutely incredible, for many reasons. The guides, Babanath and Pravin were the best guides i could have imagined getting, as well as our porter, Prim. All were fantastic and went out of their way to make the experience the best it could possibly be, while still keeping us healthy and safe. As a tour guide myself in australia, I was blown away to think there are such good guides in the world that are this good at what they do. The motel in Kathmamdu was great, and the teahouses were better than expected, just definitely take your own toilet paper and something to cover your face, but all part of the experience. Mosaic did an awesome job and i would absolutely recommend to anyone to go with these guys, especially after seeing some of the other groups and how they work and what their guides are like, Mosaic are unbeatable. Best experience of my life, thank you Mosaic Adventure.

    • Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
    • Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before January 3rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after January 3rd, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Mosaic Adventure. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Mosaic Adventure will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
