Agadir to Marrakech
Your driver will pick you up from Agadir airport and take you directly to your accommodation in Marrakech. This gives you time to settle in and get comfortable as your Moroccan trip starts.

Marrakech
After breakfast, you'll explore Marrakech's UNESCO-listed Medina with a local guide who'll show you around Djemaa el-Fna square where street performers work the crowds. You'll see the ornate Bahia Palace and walk through the spice markets and souks, which smell incredible with all the different herbs and spices. The afternoon and evening are free, so you can wander around on your own and find spots that catch your interest.

Marrakech to Boumalne Dades
You'll drive across the High Atlas Mountains, passing through Berber villages and heading up to Tickha peak for mountain views. From there, you'll check out the 18th-century Telouet Kasbah and then Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO site from the 17th century that you might recognize from films like Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. Later you'll pass through the Valley of Roses and Kalaat Megouna before arriving in Boumalne Dades for dinner and an overnight stay (roughly 9-10 hours total travel time, so it's a full day on the road).

Boumalne Dades to Merzouga
Head out to Todra Gorge near Tinghir, then continue through desert towns including Erfoud and Rissani. You'll ride a camel or take a 4WD into Morocco's pink sand dunes and have time to explore at your own pace. By evening you'll watch the sunset, have Moroccan dinner with traditional live music around the campfire, and sleep in authentic Berber tents where you can see the Milky Way at night.

Merzouga
If you want, wake up early to catch the desert sunrise (you can arrange this when you arrive). After breakfast, you'll do a 4WD off-road adventure through rocky desert terrain and meet nomads in their traditional tents. You'll stop at the abandoned mining village of Mifis where there are ancient fossils, listen to Gnawa music at Khamlia Village and have traditional Berber pizza for lunch, then visit the Merzouga oasis before heading back to your riad for the night.

Merzouga to Fes
You're traveling toward Fes through Errachidia and the Ziz Valley, passing through Midelt's farmland and into the Cedar forests where you might spot rare Barbary macaques. Stop in Ifrane to see the alpine-style buildings and the famous lion statue, then continue on to arrive in Fez by early evening (about 10 hours travel, so plan for a long day in the vehicle).
