Arrival in Lanzarote
You'll land at Arrecife Airport and head to your hotel in Costa Teguise. After you settle in, the afternoon and evening are open for you to explore the beach resort on your own or just relax by the water.

Costa Teguise to Haría
Today you'll cycle inland from Costa Teguise toward Haria, passing through several of César Manrique's iconic sites like El Jardín de Cactus, Los Jameos del Agua, and El Mirador del Río. You'll pass fishing villages with views of Monte Corona before reaching Haria, a village surrounded by palm trees. Three route options available: 34 km (21 miles), 45 km (28 miles), or 52 km (32 miles).

Haría to La Geria
Your ride today takes you from Haria down toward Teguise, the former island capital, with coastal views along the way. After exploring Teguise's architecture and local bars, you'll continue through San Bartolomé and into La Geria's wine region, arriving at your country hotel for a two-night stay. Two route options: 29 km (18 miles) or 43 km (28 miles).

Free Day at La Geria
You have the day to yourself at your rural hotel. You can rest and relax, or take an optional ride around the island. The main route heads to Famara beach with its volcanic cliffs, then crosses lava fields and moon-like landscapes back to San Bartolomé. Shorter alternatives go to Fundación César Manrique or Teguise. Main route is 50 km (31 miles).

San Bartolomé to Playa Blanca
You'll cycle from San Bartolomé or Teguise toward Parque Nacional de Timanfaya, where the volcanic landscape is most dramatic on the island. Here you'll see what the 1730-1736 eruptions left behind—they covered about a quarter of the island. After exploring the volcanic terrain, you head south past the coastal volcanic crater at El Golfo and finish in Playa Blanca. Route options: 47 km (29 miles) or 58 km (36 miles).

Optional Activities
In Playa Blanca at the island's southern tip, you have several choices. You can take a boat to Corralejo and explore Fuerteventura by bike, cycle around the nearby Papagayo coves and beaches which are some of the island's best and largely undeveloped, or head to El Golfo for seafood lunch by the water. Route options: El Golfo is 36 km (20 miles), Fuerteventura circuit is 70 km (43 miles).

Playa Blanca to Arrecife
You'll cycle from Playa Blanca across the steep hills of Femés and into La Geria's wine country. This area has unique vineyard growing methods that create a landscape you won't find elsewhere, and you'll have chances to taste local wines. Later you descend to the coast and follow a scenic waterfront path from Puerto del Carmen to Arrecife. Route is 47 km (30 miles).
