Customer Reviews
- Kathleen· December 11th, 2024Overall good, the guide was sweet but lacked passion and enthusiasm, very soft spokenShow more
- Suzanne· May 16th, 2022Guides were excellent, advance planning and some instructions needed updating and/or were inaccurate. Most accommodations quite good, but boxed food not adequate. Worst thing on trip was having to carry boxed lunches and back packs on hike/climb to Machu Picchu, which otherwise was a great but much more difficult than described experience.Show more
- Christopher· March 19th, 2020The tour group was only 6 and we got on well. A great start. Saw almost everything we wanted to, including a group of Orcas on our personal boat going from Floreana to Isabell. Great snorkelling. So 6 people plus one experienced guide going around the Islands and staying on land every night - compared to being on the same boat with a 100 other people. No contest.Show more

Asked on April 24th, 2022How much hiking or climbing is involved? Walking?
- Exodus Adventure TravelsOperator•Written April 2022
This trip has been graded 1 (Leisurely) with a Safari Rating of 5. Due to the volcanic nature of the Galapagos islands there will be some walking on rough ground and sharp volcanic rocks. The ability to withstand high temperatures and to swim will maximize your enjoyment. Due to local regulations, we have specific time slots for making our landings and site visits. Each day will feature a mixture of walking, snorkelling, and exploring the islands by boat.

Traveler•Written May 2022I am now in my 70's and am not able to do a lot of hiking. How much walking/hiking is there on this trip?
- Exodus Adventure TravelsOperator•Written May 2022
For this tour, we recommend passengers to be in a reasonably good physical condition. The hikes in the itinerary A are not so difficult, however, some trails are longer than others (last around 1-2 hours), some have sharp lava rocks or light scrambling. Everything depends on the physical condition of the guest.
