Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu to Beshisahar
Your guide picks you up from the hotel and drives toward Beshisahar, which takes about 6 to 7 hours. The route follows the Prithvi Highway and runs alongside the Trisuli River, so you'll see waterfalls, rafting boats, and some really nice landscapes along the way. Once you arrive in Beshisahar, there's time to walk around the town before settling in for the night.

Beshisahar to Chame
After breakfast, a local jeep takes you to Chame. The drive crosses the Marsyangdi River using a suspension bridge, and you'll pass through rural villages where you can see how locals live and work. There's a lunch break somewhere along the route before you reach Chame, a peaceful village where you'll spend the night.

Chame to Pisang
This is your first trekking day from Chame to Pisang. You'll hike through dense forests and a steep valley, crossing suspension bridges and climbing gradual uphill sections. The trail reaches the top of Paungda Danda before leveling out as you approach Pisang village, where you'll rest for the evening.

Pisang to Manang
The trek continues through jungle and into Manag Valley. Starting flat from Pisang, the path climbs gently through Humde and on to Manang. Along the way you'll see views of Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna, Tilicho, and Pisang Peak. You'll pass Tibetan settlements and get a sense of Buddhist culture in the region.

Manang Acclimatization Day to Yak Kharka
After resting at Manang village, you trek toward Yak Kharka. The hike ascends steadily through Tan, leaving the Marshyangdi Valley and heading into the Jarsang Khola Valley. The initial section feels pleasant as you cross stupas and prayer walls before reaching Yak Kharka for the night.

Yak Kharka to Throng Phedi
Today involves a gradual climb to a ridge, then a descent to cross a river before climbing up to Throng Phedi. The lodge there sits in a strategic spot, and you'll use the night to prepare for tomorrow, which is a big day with the Thorong La Pass crossing.

Landmarks/POIs Throng Phedi - Day 7
Throng Phedi to Thorong La Pass to Muktinath
Start early to reach Thorong La Pass by around 11 AM. The climb takes roughly 4 hours, passing chortens and prayer flags along the way. At the top, you'll have views of Annapurna and the snowcapped peaks around it. After resting, descend all the way down to Muktinath, an important pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists.

Landmarks/POIs Thorong La Pass Annapurna Muktinath - Day 8
Muktinath to Tatopani
Spend the morning exploring Muktinath, then take a local jeep to Jomsom, which takes about 2 hours. From there, a local bus takes you to Tatopani on a rough 6 to 7 hour journey through one of the world's deepest river gorges. The route drops from dry high elevations through lush jungle and farmland along the narrow Dudkosi valley. Once you arrive, take a dip in the natural hot spring.

Tatopani to Pokhara
The local bus continues from Tatopani to Pokhara, a 5 to 6 hour drive via Beni Bazaar. Pokhara sits by a lake and offers plenty of tourist facilities and amenities for travelers looking to relax.

Pokhara to Kathmandu
Have an early breakfast at your Pokhara hotel, then head to the tourist bus station for a short drive. The tourist bus leaves at 7:30 AM for a scenic drive back to Kathmandu. You'll pass satellite towns, rural settlements, rivers, terraces, and green landscapes. The route includes a rafting section on the Trisuli River before climbing back into Kathmandu valley.
