The coordination with the tour guide from Bravo Indochina Tours worked very well and a problem on the cruise on Halong Bay was solved immediately.

Preliminary remarks: Date of travel: 16.03.2023 - 29.03.2023 We (3 people) had booked German speaking guides, which cost us an extra $215 per person, but our group for this also consisted of only the three of us. In Vietnam, these were 2 x older gentlemen who had worked in the former GDR and one who learned German from a friend who had worked in the GDR. Accordingly, their German was bad. We had on the way often the opportunity to listen to English-speaking guides. Conclusion: If you understand English reasonably well, you understand at least as much from them as from the German speaking guides. These usually young guides do not only speak an understandable English, they are also more engaged and give more information to their group. You can possibly save these additional costs. But otherwise it was a very interesting, well organized trip. On the whole, everything worked out so that this trip (especially if the organizer follows the instructions below) can be thoroughly recommended. The pick-up at the airport and the hotels always worked out. (We were skeptical because we had booked one extra night each before the start and after the end of the official trip). However, we always had to ask to be told the pick-up time the day before as well. The hotels were all upscale with large rooms and good beds. Only the air conditioners made a lot of noise in every hotel; the fan often ran at the highest level and could not be turned down. When we complained about this, we were always told that they would take care of it, but nothing happened - the guests are only there for a short time and never come back! We could only sleep with earplugs - and you don't sleep well with them! A huge disappointment, however, was the excursion to the Mekong Delta. According to the tour description, it should go after breakfast to Cai Be, where a boat is boarded. With this it should then go to the famous floating market and then until sunset through the delta. Our tour guide had no idea what was in our program! The organizer should require the guides to know the program and provide the guests with what is promised! He took us to Tien Giang and claimed that the floating market has not existed since Corona. Apparently it is indeed so. (This is where the trip description needs to be adjusted!!). But we were deprived of the trip through the Mekong Delta, which after all was supposed to last from noon to evening. For my son, this was one of the reasons to book this trip and not another company's. Our Mekong experience was: 5 minute crossing to a small island. On this we were offered honey and homemade sweets for sale. Then it was a few hundred meters by small barge through a narrow channel crowded with boats again to a tourist show (several venues with groups all playing or singing the same songs). Then by donkey cart to lunch. We felt like we were on a coffee cruise! Then another 10 minutes across the Mekong back to the car. This is what we saw of the famous Mekong Delta. We felt - excuse me! - felt fooled! The flight to Siem Reap did not leave until late afternoon. The program scheduled that day in Siem Reap was therefore postponed to the next day and the day after, which made them crowded. After the flight went certainly not only on our travel day only late in the afternoon, the travel description should be adjusted accordingly. Perhaps parts can also be moved to the departure day (our departure was only in the late afternoon). In return, the tour guide there was super. A young, dedicated man with relatively well understandable German. He knew what was in our travel description, read it again and showed us what was promised - maybe even more. About each of the temples in Angkor he had detailed information ready. Our driver was also great. He provided us with water bottles and chilled refreshment towels after each long sightseeing tour. Conclusion: With the very annoying exception of the Mekong Delta, we saw everything the trip description promised. The transfers to and from the airports worked great, as did the excursions and sightseeing with the guides and the chauffeurs. The hotels were all good and centrally located, so that you could still do something in the evening. The timing was also good: In the north the season had not yet begun and in the south it was already over. This meant that there was relatively little going on at the attractions, which was very pleasant. Unanimous opinion of the three travelers: It was a great, well-organized trip! What is perhaps still interesting: In Cambodia you can pay everything in US dollars. An exchange of money is therefore not absolutely necessary. And for the entry visa you should have in any case US $ ready. Otherwise you get ripped off and pay 40 € instead of 30 $!

We did a Group tour with Bravo Indochina Tour via Tourradar. I was very nervous at the time of booking because everything was done over the internet. However, our booking consultant Vicky was very helpful and reassuring. Our trip included Hanoi, Hue, Hoi An, Danang, Siem Reap and Ho Chi Minh city. All our tour guides were amazing and went out of their way to make our trip as memorable as possible
