Itinerary
- Day 1
Bandaranaike to Kandy
You'll land at Bandaranaike International Airport and get picked up for the drive to Kandy, which takes around 3 hours. Once you arrive at your hotel, spend the rest of the day getting settled and using the hotel's facilities to relax after your journey.

Kandy
Head to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage early to see bottle-feeding at 9:15am and watch the elephants bathe in the river from 10:00am to noon. After returning to Kandy in the afternoon, walk through the city visiting the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, the Bahirawakanda Buddha statue, Kandy Lake, and local gem and craft shops. Finish with a cultural show and candlelit dinner in the evening.

Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Drive toward Nuwara Eliya through tea plantations, which takes about 4.5 hours. Stop at a tea factory to see how Ceylon tea gets made and try some fresh brews. Once in Nuwara Eliya, check out Victoria Park and Gregory Lake, then visit the 19th century Golf Club. End with a candlelit dinner by Gregory Lake.
