Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Cairo
Your representative meets you at Cairo airport terminal exit and takes you to your private air-conditioned vehicle. The drive to your hotel takes some time, so you'll arrive with check-in at 14:00. If you get in earlier than that, you can hang out at the hotel or arrange an extra night for immediate access to your room.

- Day 2
Cairo
After hotel breakfast, your personal guide leads you to Giza Plateau where you'll see the Great Pyramid of Khufu along with Khafre and Menkaure's pyramids and their smaller companion structures. The Great Sphinx and Valley Temple come next, with a photo stop capturing all three pyramids against the Cairo skyline. Lunch happens at a local restaurant. Then you move on to Zoser's Step Pyramid, the Imhotep Museum, and the tombs of kings Titi and Unas. The day ends in Memphis, Egypt's ancient capital, where you'll see the Alabaster Sphinx and the 16-meter Statue of Ramses II before heading back to your hotel.

Cairo to Sharm El Sheikh
After breakfast, you're transferred to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Sharm El Sheikh (USD$220 per person, paid locally in cash). Tour staff meet you upon arrival and handle your transfer to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.

Sharm El Sheikh
This day is yours to use however you'd like in Sharm El Sheikh. You can simply rest and take in the area at your own pace, or if you're interested, optional activities are available to explore.

- Day 5
Sharm El Sheikh to Cairo
After breakfast, you head to the airport for your domestic flight back to Cairo (USD$220 per person, paid locally in cash). Once you land, representatives transfer you to your hotel. The full day involves the Egyptian Museum, which holds over 250,000 ancient Egyptian artifacts including Tutankhamen's golden treasures. After lunch at a quality restaurant, you move through Old Cairo's historic sites: the Hanging Church from the 3rd-4th century, Abu Sirga Church, and Ben Ezra Synagogue (15th century). Then comes Amr Ibn El-aas Mosque, Egypt's first mosque. From there, the Citadel of Salah El-din offers panoramic views and houses the 19th-century Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque with its Turkish style. Time permitting, Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the Middle East's oldest bazaars, gets a visit before you return to your hotel.

Departure from Cairo
Eat breakfast at your hotel, then an Ancient Egypt Tours representative picks you up and takes you to the airport. Plan for 4 hours before international flights or 3 hours for domestic ones. If your flight leaves early, the hotel can pack a breakfast box for you to take along.
