- Day 1
Kampala to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to Murchison Falls National Park
Your safari starts with a morning transfer from Kampala heading to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. You'll spend a few hours there walking around to spot white rhinos in their natural setting. After that, you'll head on to Murchison Falls National Park where you'll have dinner and settle in for your first night.

- Day 2
Murchison Falls National Park
This is a full day of wildlife viewing. Early morning brings a game drive where you'll watch elephants, lions, giraffes and other animals across the landscape. Later in the afternoon, you'll take a boat trip on the River Nile looking for crocodiles, hippos and rare birds. The trip ends at the point where the Nile meets Lake Albert, which makes for quite a sight.

Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale National Park
Start the morning by heading to upper Murchison Falls National Park to see the falls along the Nile River. Then you'll travel to Kibale National Park by way of Fort Portal town. By evening you'll be settled into your lodge for the night.

- Day 4
Kibale National Park
After breakfast, head into Kibale forest for a chimpanzee trek through their home. Along the way you might come across colobus monkeys, olive baboons and red-tailed monkeys. If you're interested, there's an optional afternoon visit to Bigodi Swamp Sanctuary, which is known for bird watching.

Kibale National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Leave Kibale National Park and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. As you travel, you'll see the scenic crater lakes of southwestern Uganda along the route. You'll arrive at your lodge in time to check in for the night.

- Day 6
Queen Elizabeth National Park
Start before sunrise with an early game drive to see predators and nocturnal animals heading back to rest, including elephants, buffaloes, jackals, hyenas, leopards and lions. After early breakfast, you'll explore the Kasenyi plains spotting lions, buffalo herds, elephants, Uganda kobs and bushbucks. By lunch you're back at the lodge. The afternoon brings a boat cruise on Kazinga channel where you'll see crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants and many bird species.

- Day 7
Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi National Park
Travel from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi National Park through western Uganda's landscapes. You'll drive through Ishasha, the southern part of Queen Elizabeth, where you might see tree-climbing lions resting in fig trees. Watch for buffalo, topi and hippos along the way. You'll arrive at Bwindi National Park in the late afternoon.

- Day 8
Bwindi National Park to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, head to the Bwindi gate for a gorilla trekking briefing with a national park guide who'll explain what to expect and tell you about your assigned gorilla family. Trek duration depends on where the gorillas are in the forest. After trekking, you'll transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for some rest and relaxation.

- Day 9
Lake Bunyonyi to Lake Mburo National Park
Following breakfast, transfer from Lake Bunyonyi to Lake Mburo, called the 'Zebra magnet' because of its large zebra population. You'll drive through hilly terrain and reach the park by lunch time. After eating at the lodge, you'll head out for an afternoon game drive spotting zebras, topis, warthogs, cape buffaloes and impalas.

- Day 10
Lake Mburo National Park to Entebbe
Rise early and drive to Rwonyo Park headquarters for an early morning game drive. You'll see hyenas returning to their dens, hippos heading to water, buffalo, zebra, impala and possibly sitatungas in the papyrus swamps. After returning for a late breakfast and checking out, you'll head to Entebbe. Stop at the Equator for photos and a 'polar water experiment', then visit local community crafts shops and fruit markets. You'll arrive in Entebbe by evening.
